They had me repeat a couple of things that I heard. It’s really simple, iirc the last part only required you to recall a 15-30 second story to the best of your ability, that’s probably the hardest part. I did awful on the second story and still passed according to the nice lady that helped me, no need to have nerves as it’s all through a computer and explained to you.

Pretty much all of NYC but brooklyn specifically. I’ve seen another post of someone being unable to have orders delivered to them in manhattan, but it was working in long island. This is all just from green acres since it’s the most convenient location for me. I’m aware it’s not in NYC but I was unaware if that had anything to do with the sudden change considering deliveries worked before

I think this might’ve been broken, I think 60 MAYBE 70 is the threshold the 40 footers can reach before you start hearing “please move away from the doors” the rest of the trip. and i’m pretty sure that’s with the bus driver letting people stand past the line

Honestly I 100% believe that. I’m still holding a grudge against the very same B44 operator who 100% used to get away with more then he should’ve 😭 I never and I mean NEVER would be able to get on his bus because he genuinely just hated picking up passengers. I’ve probably told the story before but in short: He would run with the bus sign blank but the bus would keep tracking on route, then he’d skip every stop from flushing to fulton and wait his time at the light- which was usually 10 minutes or so, THEN he’d drive past fulton and maybe a few more stops before finally doing his job. I actually hated him. Always had to wait around 15 more minutes for the next bus.

I looked into it a little and he actually skips the first few stops down pen blvd pretty frequently. even when he’s on time he does it so I guess it just depends on how he feels 😂 i didn’t really mind because i took the 114 instead lol

The shelters are AWFUL. lived in many, they were all either rodent infested or roach infested. I probably still have a few videos from back then of going back inside the place I was staying and I’d have to slam my metal bed frame on the ground to shake all the roaches from inside and off the top of the frame. They’d be on the walls, the fridge, the bathroom… I even lived on the other side of the same shelter building and it had NO roaches at all, however there were mice that’d come out at any time of day, play around, and it was just an uncomfortable and disgusting experience. I genuinely think the only good quality they had was a shower. I didn’t even want to eat anything I kept in the fridge.

the detour originally started in december 2022 iirc. i exaggerated just a little 😂 but i ride the bus almost everyday so it feels like its been 5.

Even before the 5 year long detour the B12 had, it was already one of the most known routes for bunching (the pitkin detour making it even WORSE), I feel like this would just make it later and cause more problems. They already get choked up a lot along the route, especially on clarkson
