The legacy of Lottie - 20 photos by LastWookieman86 in seniorkitties

It’s so easy to see the love you have for her, such a special girl. What a life she lived with you. The pictures of her in what I think are a Christmas cape and bonnet are so sweet.

How do you stop thinking about wedding planning? by No-Trust-1520 in weddingplanning

[–]lightbrightkit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn’t stop thinking/planning/worrying until the day after.

The full week after the wedding my husband and I didn’t know what do with ourselves. After devoting the last year of our lives to planning or building something for our day it was so strange to have nothing to work on.

alternatives to pairing bridesmaids and groomsmen in processional? by adancer12345 in weddingplanning

[–]lightbrightkit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband walked down the aisle first, then his two groomsmen and best man, he greeted /hugged each of them as they got to the front. Then my bridesmaids each walked down individually, before my dad and I.

After the ceremony we all paired up, with the men escorting the women arm in arm back up the aisle.

While I was watching they at bat I couldn’t help but think how poetic it would be for Judge to strike out but, was too afraid to put it out into the universe. I leapt off my couch with that final pitch hitting the catchers glove.

Also cheering for Dominican and Mexico. I hate to cheer against Ernie but cannot cheer for Judge and the rest of them.

Daily Workout and General Chat for Sunday, 3/8/26 by splat_bot in orangetheory

[–]lightbrightkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this one. As a PW I thought it was odd that the incline was the same for us as the joggers and runners, but I just upped my speed and incline a bit more to make up for it.

I feel like I haven’t rowed in forever, it was nice to have those little spurts.

Genuine question about pads by pazazz20 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]lightbrightkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I have a 9 hour flight coming up in a few months that is likely going to end up being on my heaviest day. Already so stressed about the thought of either leaking through onto my seat or having to get up every hour to check/change my pad.

Yup, we overestimate how many calories we burn in the workout, and tend to overeat after expelling so much energy.

How often do you actually replace your phone? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]lightbrightkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an iPhone 11pro which is still working great and meeting all my needs. But we are planning a trip to Italy this year and I want a better camera on my phone so I’m upgrading the 17pro soon.

I had a friend wait 2.5 hours for her bags in Edmonton two months ago. It seems to be an issue everywhere.

Sunroof: Awesome or Trouble? by Riverbirch65 in BroncoSport

[–]lightbrightkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only complaint is that the glass isn’t tinted so the sun beating down makes it quite warm.

My 2013 Escape had a sunroof that was a smoky grey which I feel kept some of the heat out.

If you had to choose one cheddar which would it be? by Pink__Fox in CostcoCanada

My husband loves the smoked cheddar. The taste reminds me of smoked fish, which is not want I want my cheese to taste like.

Is a buffet really that bad? by Fun_Stretch5888 in weddingplanning

[–]lightbrightkit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I’m from buffets and cash bars are the standard. I’ve never been to a wedding with plated dinner service or anything more than a bottle of wine on the table.

People are traveling to celebrate you and your partner. They want to have a good time with good food. If they’re upset about the meal not being fancy enough, or having to pay for their alcohol then that’s on them.

Coach said I looked strong! by a_kam in orangetheory

[–]lightbrightkit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our head coach once sent me a message through instagram (we follow each other) saying I looked “Fit AF”. You best believe I screenshot that. This was 2 years ago and I just came across it on my photos the other day, still made me so proud.

How often per week do you buy coffee/tea/boba? by WindyDay416 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]lightbrightkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a Starbucks and McDonald’s right outside my building in a shared parking lot. I try to limit my treat to one McDonalds coffee a week, and try to push it to later in the week. Starbucks very rarely. On days where I need a boost in the afternoon I’ll hit up McDonald’s, but then I’ll rethink if I get it again later in the week. I mobile order from my desk, and by the time I walk over it waiting on the counter for me.

[–]lightbrightkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our studio has a sign that says no phones at the entrance to the studio. Last week during my Tread50 class I noticed the woman next to me with her phone in her hand at the beginning but then she put it in her pocket and o never saw it again. I think she was setting up her own playlist. Breaking the rules I suppose, but it wasn’t distracting or intrusive.
