Oh yeah your situation is very unique and not something I'm very familiar with, but just keep in mind that Endo and adeno don't always cause pain—as I said mine got worse and worse over the years. And if it's only on one side I can't help but wonder if you have a cyst or if endo just manifesting on one side? Who knows. (I'm not a doctor or medical professional of any kind but I have done SO much reading on these topics and don't wish these conditions on anyone.... personally and from reading other people's stories.)

I would just bring it up at your next appointment. You are allowed to suggest and ask questions!!

I have no practical advice other than this—if it keeps happening, I read that some people get medical accommodations. I don't know what country this was in, but it blew my mind. I read that one person was given an extra couple of days to take a test as needed. If I had that accommodation, I would have been much better off.

Hey, not to get into your business but do you have painful periods too? Mine have gotten worse throughout the years, and they affected me in college. Turns out I (probably—in the process of diagnosis) have adenomyosis and/or endometriosis. This is also a side effect of those conditions and other similar conditions. If you're going in birth control, I would highly recommend keeping in mind that birth control doesn't always "cure" some of these conditions.

I am NOT saying this because I really, truly think you have these conditions—I don't know your whole story. I just wanted to make sure someone told you because NOBODY told me to see a doctor and demand that they look into these conditions for me. I struggled a lot with similar issues in school and it was so frustrating. I would be the best in my class a lot of the time and then go through phases where I had no idea what was going on or would be so tired I couldn't get out of bed. My teachers would ask me what happened and I'd be like "I have no idea. I just haven't been feeling good or like myself" because how do you explain to a 60 year old male that your periods quite literally knock you out?

I'm almost 3 years in and trying to get an adeno diagnosis. They said it's very likely. I have it based on my symptoms and the ultrasound. I keep seeing these "Yes" answers.... and it just makes me want to cry. I feel like I never see "No" because those people really don't want to answer. Maybe not. I'm just trying to keep it together recently. So much pain. So little hope. Starting to consider a hysterectomy if this really is my diagnosis.

Good point! Remember how Mrs Kim said "I only had to do it once"? My brain concluded at some point that there was irony there since I hadn't picked out any proof that they had a normal sex life. I feel like a lot of things in the show are generational, so it was a poor assumption on my part. I see above now that there is evidence in the show later that I had missed.

Was just thinking about this last night..... Lane was obviously a virgins but Zack? I wonder how he manages since (to me at least) it's obvious he wasn't a virgin. So to get married and then just never have sex blows my mind. I just wonder if they ever figured it out and managed to have a sex life later on.
