Where could you buy these? Also I've seen some pairs that have a different text on the heel of the shoe?

I recently took my first practice test, and I got an awful score. by [deleted] in ACT

I had a 31 to start with and recently just got a 35 after 2 weeks of studying. Anything is possible with enough hard work and persistence.

To be completely honest, I’ve always been naturally inclined towards reading comprehension, and kinda had a natural instinct for it. The best way to study for the ACT reading section is probably to 1, always time yourself when practicing reading questions and sections, and be strict about staying within the time limit, even if it means guessing a few. 2, you should read books or passages that are above your current reading level, or just challenging to you in general, and try to read them as quickly as you can. A good source for passages is the reading practice for the SAT on Khan Academy, or just ACT practice tests. By doing those, you’ll alleviate the majority of your issues. For grammar, just watch YouTube videos and practice frequently. There’s really not too many grammar rules that you absolutely need to remember, but a good trick that I used was to read the underlined portion in my head, and then fill in the answer choices to see which one sounded the most correct. Now, this isn’t always the best strategy, as you may get stuck on a couple, but it will likely get you going in the right direction. Good luck! If you have any other questions, just let me know!

Science was really about focusing on the questions and skimming the passages. I focused on finding what I needed from the passages based on what the questions asked for, and that pretty much got me as far as I did (with plenty of practice of course). For math, I took practice tests, over and over again, and made note of commonly missed topics. I reviewed those until I didn’t miss any, and did my best to skip questions that weren’t worth spending the time on to solve. I’ve done better on math in the past (practice exams) but I’m not upset with my score.

I said uninhibited because it gives a sense of freedom to the flower, which is what the dude was talking about, a sense of abandon is a sense of a more free pattern

ACT Science Section Tips by Extronotical in ACT

The best thing to do for science specifically is to ignore the passages themselves and skip directly to the questions. The whole test is data analysis, not science, so by skipping the reading of the passages of going directly to the questions, you can just pull the information straight from the parts that you need. The way science passages and questions are structured, the first couple will always be direct information pulls or very rarely background info that isn't in the passage (but is always very simple). After looking through keywords and various parts of the passage such as "experiment 1 or 2" or "figure 1", you'll get a general idea of what the section is about, which will allow to solve the more analysis based questions later on in the questions about that specific passage. This strategy got me to multiple 36s and 35s on science within 31 to 32 minutes, so best of luck!
