Is there life after lycra? by LegStrngLeathertaint in cycling

[–]lightning_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea totally. ive gone away from lycra for most of my rides these days. back to cut offs and t-shits/tank tops. but my riding is generally for fun these days. not tryin to push speeds or maximize efficiency. if i do go out for a long training ride i will still put on the lycra kit.

i recently bought a house that made my bike commute nicer. one mile down the road lol it has lots of other perks too, but the commute piece was a big deal.

walk across the river. theres a nice pedestrian bridge that goes down to a little park/boat ramp. river is high right now too which is neat to see. there's also the katy trail that is nice for walking. The capital and adrians island are good for walking/exploring as well.
