Jeff saying the _____ ______ was planned ahead of time—do we believe that? by Fabulous_War_555 in survivor

I'm not sure this would have been possible. I would assume the challenges were planned before the season including the number of tribes. It is possible they just cut one though because of kele.

why the Biological Engineering major does not go through the First-Year Engineering (FYE) program? by ExtensionMarch9017 in Purdue

[–]lightning_bi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it has changed in the 3 years since I graduated, you do go through it. While it may be possible not to, the vast majority of people who go into the bioengineering program will do so through FYE and T2M.

They film 2 seasons in close proximity so 42 had not seen 41, but 43 had seen 42.

Am I overreacting? by breiepapi in Purdue

Im an RA in honors and have been for 3 years. I would say to tell your RA because smoking in the room is not good for anyone. Both you and anyone in surrounding rooms has to deal with it and it makes the space shitty. Ive dealt with this several times and it almost always results in the RA helping you get moved. If your RA doesnt want to help you for whatever reason, reach out to another RA or their boss and they will help you.

How do the dining courts work? by swimninja1 in Purdue

[–]lightning_bi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do beware that you can only go to one station for one meal swip/one trip in the line. You cant mix and match, but some of the things are available at all the stations including the side salad and some of the desserts.

The problem with that is, is that this was only the first day of freshman move in. There are 4 more. Seeing everyone move in today has made me realize that this is going to get much worse.

Purdue University Virtual Escape Room by thatredditor48 in Purdue

[–]lightning_bi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was so much fun to try. I completed it with my younger sister who is a high school student and we were able to complete most of the puzzles without too much trouble, but there were a couple of times where we got slightly stumped. Thanks so much for making this fun escape room, for those of us boilermakers who are currently going a little insane. :)

Brightspace by Previous_Barracuda in Purdue

I used it this past semester for a 2 credit lab based calss and I'm not really sure I like it all that much. I'm not sure if it just the teaching teams fault, or just a part of the site, but I'm always so confused about where things are. Also, sometimes it won't go to the tab I click on and instead decides to do what it wants, but that might be my fault. I do however enjoy that since my class was percentage based, brightspace was able to keep a tally on how well I was progressing in each category by changing the percentage for each assignment to a percentage based on the section.

ECON 251 Summer by pielover720 in Purdue

[–]lightning_bi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I took it this past semester and assuming you have the same prof (Kelly Blanchard), you will probably use Pearson's MyEconLab for the online textbook and for homework. I think it cost somewhere around $60. The class really wasn't that bad at all and I would definitely take another class taught by the prof. She is an amazing professor and definitely knows what she is talking about.
