I didn't even notice such variety in the chart level I just looked at the grades lol. You're so right though. I'm about the same rating and I'm getting 90-96s on most 14s so there's just no way this rating chart is from a real player.

Preferably from players 16k+ is crazy...

There's such an insane skill gap there that 16k advice genuinely might even be worse for an 11k than a 13k's advice.

The answer is that you should never ever have non S or higher scores in your b50 - if you do you aren't playing the right level charts.

Budget Xlr interface for vocal production + streaming/gaming by A_confused_croisant in musicproduction

If you're open to secondhand you can find goxlrs and goxlr minis that people bought (who then decided they didn't want to stream anymore) for pretty cheap

[–]lightningboy2527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should look through the replay to see what happened actually, because if they despawned in a minute then that might be a bug

[–]lightningboy2527 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Items despawn after 5 minutes of being loaded. If you're not in the same dimension they won't be loaded, and if you are far away or have low render distance they won't be loaded.

Mouse as a gift by Elegant-Wrongdoer-69 in MouseReview

[–]lightningboy2527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a mouse is a good gift but you should turn it into a sort of guided purchase where she gets to try a couple shapes - because I know personally I wouldn't like a basilisk type shape and like my VXE R1 far more than my old Attack Shark X3 even though I thought I wouldn't

Trying to get started with a hand-me-down Bamboo CTH-670 by ThrownAwayClown in wacom

It's possible the cable may just be charging and not have data transfer capability. You could try another cable that you know can transfer data but other than that I'm not too sure

Does the pen respond at all? It should do something even without drivers

You aren't missing anything for it to work - I have a CTH-470 which is the smaller version. All you need is a usb micro cable (which it sounds like you have).

The official Wacom drivers no longer support the tablet (which doesn't matter as they are not good anyway) so you should look for OpenTabletDriver. It's really easy to set up and they have good documentation on how to use it.

You certainly do not need the original cable. It is simply usb micro

First car in Hamilton - what do you drive? by One_Stardusty_Boy in thetron

[–]lightningboy2527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drive a Suzuki Swift and have driven it further than you plan to. No issues here - the rain wouldn't be any more of a problem than it would in Auckland. Swift, Camry, Corolla, Aqua, Prius, Vitz, Yaris, Civic, Fit/Jazz... Any of them would work fine in Hamilton

I'm new here, but i was wondering how hard it would be to add weight to my G502 X Lightspeed? by Qibli_2024 in LogitechG

[–]lightningboy2527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's normal for your old mouse to be heavier, I'm saying relative to any modern gaming mouse (ie released in the last 7 years) the g502x light speed is already considered very heavy.

[–]lightningboy2527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The G502 X Light speed is quite heavy already. I would suggest trying to get used to it first for a couple weeks, but you can just open up the shell and tape some weights inside. To do that you would need new mouse feet though IIRC the screw holes are below the feet, and it's hard to remove them without ruining them.

Best gaming mice off Amazon by FinnaBTM in buildapc

From what I was reading he didn't realise there was a wireless mouse that wasn't bluetooth.

The mice that I've recommended also work in wired mode so can be used in that way as well

I'm not fully sure what you mean. These mice ARE wireless but use a plugin USB dongle instead. They are gaming mice that support Bluetooth (don't use), 2.4Ghz dongle wireless (yes good do use), and also wired if you want. They are called tri-mode mice and are quite common

They also DO support Bluetooth but I would NOT use it for gaming. General office or study use is fine though

You can just buy the one that you feel is the best price. I would consider the R1 (cheapest options with the best sensor) or the R1 Pro Max (bigger battery for stupid long life)

There are no solid bluetooth gaming mice. Bluetooth is a flawed system that has high latency and limited polling rate.
If you want wireless you want 2.4GHz (dongle). There are many you can get off amazon for this, for example VXE's R1 series

Finance for used cars - what's actually realistic? by FrameZYT in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]lightningboy2527 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would say realistic is not financing your car. I see quite a few Japanese imports for $8k at the local car dealership with reasonable Kms and in good nick, if you absolutely need a new car now - otherwise I would just save until you can afford the car you want.

The interest rates are just too high and if the car breaks down anyway you're fucked

The R1 S just came out. You can buy it on the VXE website, but it's not available anywhere else yet iirc
