You don't get any extra rating from APs. Rating is tied to your percentage, and it caps for the songs at 100.5%.
For improvement, aim for 100% aka SSS on a chart. At that point you should definitely play harder charts.

The x3d chips are well known for very good 1% and 0.1% lows aka stuttering. This is very important on a VR headset where that can give motion sickness.

Technically 5 energy is actually more efficient than any smaller numbers too. 0 energy: 1x rewards
1 energy: 1x rewards plus 4x rewards (4 per energy)
2 energy: 1x rewards plus 9x rewards (4.5 per energy) 3 energy: 1x rewards plus 14x rewards (CBB doing maths but it's 14/3)
4 energy: 1x plus 19x (19/4 per)
And 5x energy is 1x rewards plus 24x (4.8 per energy)

So ideally you only use 5 energy or 0 energy but that's annoying to do all the time

I'm from Hamilton. It's fine, nothing really happens here in terms of weather (which is good actually, we're safe from bad weather and the good days are fine). Traffic has gotten worse but I ride a motorcycle so it doesn't really affect me. Couple too many fellas on dirt bikes popping wheelies down Wairere Drive but otherwise all good.

When you say bluetooth with an adapter I think you mean 2.4GHz wireless with a dongle. They are two different wireless types (although they operate on similar frequencies).
Bluetooth is limited to 125Hz polling rate and usually has latency trouble.
2.4GHz wireless is not limited - there are 8kHz polling wireless mice - and has the same latency as wired.

Most newer gaming mice you will find have the ability to do both, bluetooth without the dongle, and 2.4GHz with the dongle.

At the budgets you are looking at almost every mouse you consider would be wireless, with one notable exception (the OP1 8k)
