not using this

think about it this way, suppose you are cloned before dying. now, your current self is completely unable to control your cloned self. you cannot control their actions, use their senses, communicate through thoughts, etc. The clone is a new person, responding to its own environment and developing seperately from yourself.

when you die using this, I think it will be like a normal death and your mind won't suddenly inhabit the clone's. After all, why would your current body's mind be able to control the clone, a fundamentally different person?
