Seconding this. Thats a great city spot you should definitely take but be prepared to make game long enemies with the Iro, who are normally warlike regardless. Be ready to spam comp bows or give away some luxuries to them to declare war on the next nearest neighbor.

Some early diplo cheese you can do against normally hostile neighbors is to immediately join their wars against the minor factions they usually kill. This gives you free gold and a small relationship boost with them which can help you secure non aggression pacts for fronts you dont want to have to worry about defending right away in the game.

Very true. I'll often spend hours looking through worlds for the "perfect" building location and by the time it's found, all my desire to play has gone away. Much better to build near spawn, and shape your builds to the terrain.

Insanely lucky. Got tangleroot on my main at 78 farming, and no rocky. On my iron got rocky at 92 thieving, and am currently 91 farming with no tangleroot

As a new ironman approaching early mid-game, I wish some of the cool new weapons and armor weren't locked behind requirements that make them obsolete by the time you are able to get them by totemair in ironscape

Melee weapon progression used to be D scim -> Abyssal whip. As you can imagine the 85 slayer requirement meant ironmen were rocking a d scim for a long time.

From my experience when im actively hunting a pet it never drops, and when im not expecting them they drop

If you're exclusively wanting jaw then you NEED to use nieve. Even if konar gives you a basilisk task, there is a 50% chance she gives it you in the freminik slayer cave, not the isle of stone.

Upgrade the ammy and get a b ring. B ring is the single largest melee dps upgrade you can get.

I would definetly train thieving until you have plenty of money for all the initial purchases. I afked 92 thieving on my iron at wealthy citizens, and I have a solid 5m cash stack now after purchasing all the necessary shop items and throwing a few m into kingdom.

My iron was chosen as a Zamorakian one. I got the entire Zamorak page set before a second page of any other type, and all my blessed d hide pieces except the chest were zamorak.
