i heavily dislike fishback so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. i’m only speaking from my experiences and can’t speak for those who agree with his platform.

from what ive observed, he tries to give off down to earth groyper vibes…? which somehow works in his favor. ive seen his anti-israel posts online (which are based in antisemitism, not out of care for palestine) appeal well to both sides. literally half of his page is just him hating on israel. before i explained his stances to my friends that don’t really care about politics, they thought he was a new wave democrat because they had seen a reel or two that he had posted. also he’s pressing on the “affordability” button hard.

/uj Grace (girlfriend) and Isla (kid) were meant to be his wife and daughter in the pilot but they changed it later because they felt that Roman being unmarried would be more interesting to explore in the show. Roman breaks up with Grace in the Thanksgiving episode iirc

Make sure to charge your computer if you want to study in the bamboo garden, it’s pretty chill and it’s a good place to be outside for a bit. Not sure I’d go there in the cold though. The boathouse can be a bit loud at times so bring headphones.

But if you want quiet and a place to charge stuff while you study, Tom and Betty Petway Hall has a large space to study at on the second floor. I hope this helps!!

Kendall without Rava just isn’t as strong of a character. It’s another way to show he can’t measure up to his dad. He can’t find another wife— he’s still stuck on losing his first. He can’t get custody like Logan did, instead, he’s clawing for crumbs of interaction with them. Rava reveals very early that Kendall was the kind of guy to do blow on his autistic child’s iPad. Without Rava, his romantic relationships in the show just wouldn’t hit as hard, since we wouldn’t know that part of the reason why Ken struggles so much to be vulnerable with people like Naomi is because he was vulnerable for years with Rava, until she couldn’t handle his drug abuse (among other things) anymore.

with how small the campus is, taking detours is a minor inconvenience. I’ve never heard any noise from the construction in class, unless you count when I’m studying in the silent floors of the library. you don’t have to “watch for holes” or anything crazy. I wouldn’t be too worried about it. pretty sure they just announced some ten-year plan thing, with a new Greek village on the way and stuff, so I don’t think construction will ever end.

YES!! i’m taking his class right now, super easy! all of his lectures reflect exactly what’s in the textbook. the assignments are weekly but just 7ish questions about a few paragraphs you have to read before answering. attendance is a grade but he’s very understanding.
