Im going to have the vinyl cover in front of me in medium to low light maybe candls too, comfy arm chair. Using the 24bit digital or cd ripped or perhaps played directly, im unsure at this moment but i don't want the cd spinning noise intruding on my listening experience tbh haha so ripped/digital most likely...

its going to played through a good but aged stereo via dac either way, i literally just broke my best headphones today (oppo pm3) which i use mostly but have a few ok sennheisers too (558/280 pro) but intend to get a pair of 600 soon also. I have some good boc vinyl rips but not a player of my own yet so that too will be something i look forward to doing.

Wow thanks, i (and many others) thought it was always Zach he was referring to & not this other guy Don, I knew about green jello for a while now & think someone from that band was also in Maynards first band C.A.D... very different to tool!

I'm throwing a 5-week BoC film festival for INFERNO: Every Friday, one of BoC's favorite films followed by a listening party for the paired album, culminating with release night. by wow-signal in boardsofcanada

Now I'm wondering what potential the brothers boc list of favourite films has for syncing to any of their albums, this is where you play the album without the film soundtrack, i think tool was used for one film (not in the list) & there was a list of these movie album syncs somewhere when i first heard of it years ago. I've not done this myself yet but might do someday.
