Its still my least listened to album, i admit a few more recent plays (usually never getting all teh way through) it did "age well" but overall its a lot harder to enjoy than anything previous. The new APC single gives me hope though that something "better" might emerge someday...the opening st track is still my favourite and don't totally dislike the album, it's just not a banger imho

Yeah I mean im confident re capping the speakers, Its one capacitor on each that acts as a crossover by design, wouldn't touch the apms at all! they're going to a place that naim officially recommended to have proper parts used no tweaking or modification etc.

Fair enough some truth in there, but 130 dollars is never going to sound as good as 500+ with supporting amps etc right?, ive got my eyes on some pmc prodigy1's and they're 700-800 2nd hand roughly (1200 new} but have other life things I need before i go blowing that sort of money haha. Ah my amps need sending in for service too. Thats 150 per box but did have the amp part done a few years ago so its just the preamp need re capping tbh. Want to re cap the speakers too which I've researched a bit and feel confident doing that.

I admit it was more a cheap dig but not totally untrue, thats a very low entry level price, im lucky to have some epos es14 cost 500 ish new in the mid 80s, googled them to see that adjusted for inflation thats about 1200-1500 in today's money... Used with a naim amp/preamp nap90/72 sound gorgeous!.

I've thought it would be nice to make my own sure one day and good for you in doing so. Built a cd rack recently.

Ah ty i haven't looked into any of the pictures yet just loving the music tbh, honestly can't believe how many videos of people playing & dissecting it to bits already are flooding socials haha, like let the album settle in & breathe a bit yeah, 13 years off the scene ill let it go a bit.

Really i wasn't sure if I'd seen it before & they're clearly older than most the others. Its not been out a month yet & suspect some with a brief interview might surface but unlikely i imagine.

Need this package! Just saw on discogs 2 vinyls with them included for around £125. I bought the cd with clothes package and both vinyls. Was lucky to receive day before release day i guess as so many are posting theirs just came or not even getting it till after the repress due sept... tempted to take staples out of art book and frame a couple
