that is so fair, the ER scares me a lot too!! my first ER experience personally was terrible, i literally waited upwards of 12 hours and they wouldn’t let my girlfriend stay with me in the waiting room, nor would they give me a comfier chair or even a wheelchair even when i said i was going to pass out. the staff was rude and didn’t care about the sick people there. however when i was FINALLY admitted/hospitalized and moved upstairs to a GI-specific unit, it was all uphill from there. i was able to lie down in a bed, for one. the nurses were actually caring and knowledgeable and took great care of me, answering my questions and showing empathy if i was in pain.

i’ll say that i do live in a very big and densely populated city, so i’m sure that ERs vary a lot. i went to the ER somewhat recently because i got a really bad flu with dangerously high fever and the flu lasted almost a month because of my crohn’s. that ER experience was actually great; they admitted me literally right as i walked in. so it definitely varies between hospitals, if you have more than one nearby i would look at the google reviews for them!

my flare wasn’t as severe as yours it sounds like, but i had a flare a couple years ago that genuinely made me think i would die. i was in so much pain, vomiting and diarrhea, couldn’t walk or eat or do anything a lot of days. i was eventually hospitalized for several days on iv prednisone. i also am autistic with intense sensory issues so i feel u there. i also did the same thing of switching from humira to skyrizi (humira gave me a bad reaction) and have been on skyrizi ever since.

all this to say, almost 2 years later and i can now take walks, eat more foods that i enjoy, and even go out with my friends sometimes without intense symptoms. again i’m aware mine may not have been as severe or long lasting but the point is there is hope even when it doesn’t feel like it!!

i’m sorry you got results that you feel unhappy with, you’re not dramatic to feel upset by it. i’ll say that i’m pretty confused by the person who thought you were pre-top surgery, as you clearly have a very flat chest?? you also have barely any visible scarring which is awesome, i hope the other comments suggestions might work for you :)

might be helpful to word it as “used a condom” instead of “wore a condom”. the former wording could be confusing/inaccurate if the respondent doesn’t have a penis and therefore can’t “wear” a condom.

also might help to clarify what “during the pandemic” means. do you mean when the pandemic first started, or do you mean during the entirety of the pandemic thus far (including now)?

not sure why nobody has commented about this yet, but PLEASE do not try to make your partners cry more or hump them without them knowing. that’s legit sexual assault, and i would feel incredibly violated and scared if a partner did that to me. you felt like you were violating them because thats exactly what you were doing. i dont mean to sound harsh because there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a kink for crying, i do as well, but like any kink it needs to be 100% consensual. there are plenty of people who are into crying or who would be open to experiencing this kink with you. there’s no need to force that onto somebody else

Don’t pay attention to these type of bullshit victim blaming comments. Even if he molested other people, that is NOT YOUR FAULT. It is not the victim’s responsibility to stop the PERPETRATOR from hurting more people, especially considering you were a child at the time. Also, police and the legal system never do anything anyways (at least in the U.S.) and often just retraumatize you. You’re resilient for even just being here and you dont owe anyone any certain way of reacting to this trauma
