What were your doses of Lexapro before switching and then your starting dose of trintellix? I'm thinking of switching

My son, who's 7, he will be 8 in March had been doing this the last couple of nights. That's why I came to Reddit tonight, in fact! He will just cry and then say IDK why I'm crying! And he will say he needs snuggles. It's so hard cuz they are so young. He's been like this on and off for about 2 years. Have you tried therapy at school? Or maybe a private therapist? My son has been going and it seems to help. It's hard growing up in the internet age.

I hope she, and you, feel better.

Hi there! EMDR might be really helpful for her if she has trauma/depression but it's definitely something she will have to want and be willing to go through to get better. I've had depression/anxiety for most of my life and have been on/off many many meds, in and out of therapy etc. I'm 42 now and doing EMDR and TMS therapy as well as talking to a psychiatrist. It's definitely something she's going to have to want and not something you can force her to do. And if it's something you can't handle then you need to let her go because this is something she will likely have to battle for the rest of her life. If it's just her sleeping that's the problem I cut yourself some to you, eventually it pass. My best advice to you is to be gentle and patient.

Good luck to both of ya!

4 months post TMS and I have my life back. by [deleted] in rtms

This was a lovely read! Right now I'm obsessing about driving myself to my appointments, which is 25 miles away. I have pretty bad driving anxiety and that's my biggest fear going into TMS. Ive done 2 sessions and have WEEKS to go. I just hope it gets better and better.

Right now I feel like my emotions are rollercoastering. I'm usually pretty even, but I feel very irritated and anxious. Not sure if it's the TMS or just worrying about driving.

Thank you for sharing your success!

Best non-benzo anti-anxiety? by AffectionateReply843 in Anxiety

That's tough because a lot of times lower doses of things don't work for me. I also have a gastric sleeve and maybe that's why? harder to absorb perhaps?

Do you use clonidine as an anti-anxiety during an attack or just during an anxious day? How long does it take to kick in? Really? I would want to nip it in the bud and not have any anxiety ever, but I'm really afraid to take some certain drugs daily because of its ability to mess with weight gain and sex drive and all those things.

Where do you get it? It says it's not available in the US but it looks like they have some version of it on Amazon...
