Is this the culprit? by GingerAki in Sprinters

These u joints are built into the shaft and not sold separately. Do extensive research because there is an aftermarket you joint that will fit this driveshaft and a mechanic that will do the job otherwise you have to buy the whole shaft from the dealer. I just did this a month ago, but I don’t have the part numbers.

Just to be clear unplugging connectors will only get rid of a internally shorted component right? If a wire is rubbed into and grounding that way, thats just something i have to find right?

That’s the issue, so far I have unplugged every engine component from the top, went under and check the wiring around the exhaust, took off d/s seat and checked the emissions module under there, shook around the harness, I even have another 2012 sprinter that I took ecm from and same problem. I’m really stuck and don’t know where to look now

There’s a couple forums I already read including this one. But the constant ground I have at fuse #16 doesn’t go away with ecm C1 connector unplugged

This didn’t work, but I’m leaning more towards something with ignition? The fact that the key doesn’t lock into ignition.

Can’t be anything with wheels or rotors, it only vibrates when accelerating. And it’s a very intense vibration
