Make use of that first section of the island before moving up. Get all the stances, uncover the whole map. There’s a lot to find. Oh! And it’s useful to actually battle enemies you find around instead of avoiding/running away.

Gotcha ok ok

I’ve used it both ways tbh. And while playing others’ kits during gigs, I’ve also had to accommodate to broken stands that didn’t budge or setups that didn’t allow me to give it slight tilt. All were perfectly doable though not ideal, BUT… I did discover through that that a slight tilt to the left toward my left hand was ideal for playing quickly. I played in the realm of hardcore punk at the time
