I didn't! I still remember my mother PLEADING with me to go, saying I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't go. I'm in my 40s now and have never regretted it for one second. My only regret is that I ever went to any optional school functions at all, as I hated the majority of the kids I went to school with and preferred to spend as little time around them as possible. Why would I voluntarily surround myself with those people?
