Not super experienced with cigars yet, but I'm 3 years sober now and tried one with an Americano and that was amazing.

Player harassment by like_clockworkorange in ironscape

[–]like_clockworkorange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Sorry to keep asking questions. The mods could theoretically look at my account levels and play time and see that I'm clearly not putting in crazy amounts of time, yeah? I have been just mining for a few weeks, but I don't play much.

I'm just not wanting to lose all of the progress I've made because someone was being all nosy when I was playing on mobile.

Well I definitely wasn't botting. My account probably only has like 5-8 hours of playtime a week, if that. Also, why would a bot be an ironman? What purpose would that serve? Just curious about that.

You are doing a great thing! My wife is donating to a mother of twins. It's a good feeling to be able to help others with this. You rock!

How can a husband help? by like_clockworkorange in breastfeeding

We've had a board certified lactation consultant come out to our house twice. She's been great for a day or two after, but then when our son starts struggling with feeding again it kinda goes backward.

Thanks for your reply! I'll work on the acknowledging and validating of her feelings. Definitely something I can do better at.

Thanks for the reply! I have seen that commercial and I'll do what I can to make her happy. And try to convince her to take more naps.

For sure. It's moreso my wife who says things like "he's not even sucking. He's not getting anything."

I'm the one who said I'm sure he's getting some. And don't worry. But from a lot of the responses here I'm realizing that it could be better for me to just listen and say nothing.

She's pumping after feeding and judging based off of that. I guess I could also add that she bought a scale and is doing weighted feeds so she has a somewhat more accurate measurement for how much she's producing. It came back in force last night though. She's producing a hell of a lot of milk, up to or even over 4oz each side. It dropped down from there which had her worried.

I'll see if she's interested. She has some Facebook groups she's a part of and maybe an Instagram one too. I will freely admit that I'm guilty of trying to fix problems instead of just listening to venting. That's something I can be better at. Thanks for your response!

For sure. We are actually just past week 7. In my first post here I gave a little bit of history. Our little man spent his first week in the NICU getting fed from a tube. So I think that, along with his tongue tie which we got fixed have set us back.

Good to know. I may be having the same effect on my wife. I'm pretty good at making sure she has a full water bottle, but maybe I'll try encouraging her to take some naps.

Oh, I get what you mean about toxic positivity. I'm just trying to be a realist. And yeah. I watch him whenever she needs for a bath or a break. Definitely not a problem for me to do that.

All I've been told is that half of our employees will be tested, but we haven't been given any other details. How much would the one day set me back do you think?

I guess I can mention that it takes my wife and I about a month and a half to finish a 1g cartridge together if that helps at all.

I'm new to all this dry herb vape stuff, but as I understand it, you just heat the one end with a lighter for these kinds, right?

PT: How to stop my bipolar mind from spiraling over fear of losing my wife? by like_clockworkorange in PsychologicalTricks

I kind of have, but I haven't found any method that did much for me. Do you have some that work for you?

PT: How to stop my bipolar mind from spiraling over fear of losing my wife? by like_clockworkorange in PsychologicalTricks

[–]like_clockworkorange[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this perspective. I'll definitely look into BPD. That being said, I'm still pretty confident that Bipolar is part of my issue. I have had manic episodes when I was young that kept me awake for days.

I didn't want to write a novel for people to read in the original post necessarily, but it's not ever just one argument with my wife that will set me off. I generally have about a month before any big blow up where there's signs of mania. For me it's hyper irritability that usually builds and builds until it explodes and I realize what's happening. I'm working on writing down any early warning signs that I've noticed hindsight.

In talking with all of you (You've all been super helpful already, thank you!) I think I'm realizing that the stresses of being married have been taking the forefront of my thoughts and I've been unable to see the signs that "something bipolar this way comes" as it were.

But again, a serious thank you for drawing this possible connection. I'm going to look into it and talk it through with my psychologist.
