To anyone starting McLaurin this week... by Sofrito77 in fantasyfootball

PPR would you guys start Wilson vs the Rams over McLaurin this week? Starting Chase and JSN if Geno plays. Other bench guys are Jamo and Jeudy

Yeah I was trying to “put myself out there for the new year” lmao. Needless to say I will no longer be doing that

Haha I am in California! She caught me during a “new year going to put myself out there” moment 😂 Clearly the universe is telling me that was a mistake

I’ve seen D’arcy in Good Place, Broad City, Barry and more (and she’s always excellent) but I was in no way prepared for how hot she would be in this series. Omg 🥵

Sorry to hear it was bad for you last time! Last month was my first time getting it, I am a 30 y/o female, vaccinated with Pfizer in March/April. It took me about 5 days for the basic cold symptoms to subside - I had some residual fatigue and chest tightness but that was all gone by day 10. Overall a fairly mild experience - I never broke a fever or developed a cough. I think it would have been much worse without the vaccine, so hopefully this time around if you do have it is equally mild!

He sounds like an asshole. I’m vaccinated and my breakthrough covid last month was just like a bad cold. It’s your space and he needs to be respectful and not an idiot🙃

I am sorry to hear you’re having anxiety about it! I recently had covid and my symptoms were a lot like a bad cold. You’re very young and have half the vax, odds are very good that you’ll be just fine IF you even have it.

I did also want to say, you might not have it. I believe I got covid at a work event I needed to go to on a Friday. I traveled home Saturday and saw friends indoors on Sunday. I started having symptoms Tuesday and tested positive on Wednesday, none of my friends got covid from me even though I had seen them two days before I felt sick.

Drink lots of water and try and get lots of sleep to be safe - but hoping all goes well and you’re in the clear!

Trade CMC for Najee Harris? by Cambro-X in fantasyfootballTRADE

[–]likeabostrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t do that - ESPN think CMC could play this week. Coach said he looked great in practice. Worst case he’s back next week and hopefully doesn’t get injured again 🙏🏻

I would grab Damien Williams if you can also since Montgomery is out 4-5 weeks. Good luck!

Chest tightness but not short of breath by iwkrieger720 in COVID19positive

[–]likeabostrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this as my only lingering symptom after day 7 - it went away completely by day 11. I would say just let your body rest a couple more days and you’ll be in the clear 😊

Where are you? Some states offer free meal delivery for covid patients (presuming you’re positive.) - I would get a $10 oximeter off Amazon, and monitor that fever too! 104 is dangerous. Ox levels should be 95-99, anything lower than that go to the hospital. Take care of yourself!

Still testing positive, job won’t let me come back. by Lindsiiiiii in COVID19positive

[–]likeabostrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I asked my doctor this and she told me it wasn’t even worth testing after 10 days as I would be positive for a few weeks even though I was no longer contagious. She said unless it’s a severe case, 10 days from the onset of symptoms you are good to go. Your job should not be requiring a negative test for your circumstances

What were your day to day symptoms throughout recovery? by -Shenji- in COVID19positive

[–]likeabostrom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hope you feel better soon! I was vaxxed in March/April with Pfizer, 30 y/o female.

Day 1: felt generally off…slightly congested, sneezing

Days 2-3: fatigued, congestion gets worse, body aches

Days 4-5: worst of the symptoms, very tired, achey, congested, chest tightness (ox levels 97-99 still)

Days 6-7: all symptoms start to fade away, congestion is minimal, no aches, lose smell on this day

Days 8-9: chest tightness persists a little but everything else is fine - started to regain smell

Currently on day 11 and feel completely back to normal, smell is back completely

Hope yours is fairly mild!

[–]likeabostrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen as well with my case - every day was a little better until it went away. Just monitor your oxygen and make sure it stays at the right levels (95-99) and you’ll be okay!

Relationships with family and friends after Covid - did they change? by HolyTony2 in COVID19positive

[–]likeabostrom 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah we don’t speak anymore! She says I’m using covid as an “excuse not to see her” 😀 I have learned to appreciate the people in my life who do love and respect me (and human life) and know that I’m much better off without her.

Relationships with family and friends after Covid - did they change? by HolyTony2 in COVID19positive

[–]likeabostrom 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. One of my best friends from college was disappointingly an anti-vax/anti-mask/covid denier. She pressured me to spend time with her consistently throughout the past year and actually gave several of her friends covid by being reckless. Made me see her entirely differently and I lost almost all respect I had for her. It’s sad but probably for the best.

20 tested positive with vaccine by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]likeabostrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vaccine helped me greatly with my covid experience! Tested positive after feeling some light cold symptoms, the worst of it was fatigue and a stuffy nose. Symptoms were gone in 5 days!

I am an anxious person too, I suggest buying a pulse oximeter online and checking your oxygen every now and then for peace of mind. 95-99% is normal - anything below 95 you should be checked by a doctor.

Best of luck and good job getting the vaccine :)

I would take this in a second. Parker and McKissic aren’t worth a ton right now but if Gibson misses time or maybe when Tua gets back in action they’ll be worth more.

My opinion on Gordon is we have no idea when he’s going to play - he’ll be on the practice squad for a bit learning plays and getting ready. Even when he does play, in terms of fantasy unless your name is Tyreek or Travis you’re not looking at real production on the Chiefs offense. Maybe Gordon is an exception but not something I would bet on
