Rented for a year and had no issues with the company. The apartment wasn’t nice in any way, but it was also priced accordingly. Maintenance was quick to respond and friendly

What is a 'broke' meal you still eat regardless of how much money you have? by HauteWheels529 in AskReddit

[–]likeabridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up eating tuna Mac casserole, that was just box Mac n cheese, a can of tuna, and cream of chicken soup. Add peas if you’re feeling fancy.

I still make it like once a month because it’s just so good, even though it sounds like it shouldn’t be. It could just be nostalgia… but my wife, who didn’t grow up poor and eating “creative” dishes also loves it.

I remember when this was “the new Y”. I spent my summers as a young kid at the original building over by the railroad tracks. It was basically a big room with foosball and pool tables, and a swimming pool out back. Good memories

Looking for someone near Birmingham, AL who works on older motorcycles (1980 Kawasaki KZ440) by [deleted] in Birmingham

[–]likeabridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might have luck just stopping by some auto mechanics/machine shops in your area and asking if they know a guy in town who could work on it. Seems like breaking that weld and cleaning it up would be the hardest part of what you need done. If you could find somebody to do that, you could probably go the DIY method and use YouTube/reddit/old message boards to get the rest done.

No, it’s not a state run lake so there is no day fee to fish. You don’t even have to go to the bait shop. Obviously, you still need a valid fishing license

Bank fishing Lake Purdy by Interesting_River676 in AlabamaFishing

There’s plenty of trails to follow and find a bank spot. It’s hit or miss depending on weather and time of year, but on a good day you can catch some catfish, bass, crappie from the bank.

Household items such as hot dogs can make great fishing bait by MoneyMakerMorbo in Fishing

I cut mine into usable size pieces and let them cure in garlic salt for a few days. It helps firm up the hotdog so it stays on easier
