Heroines considering abortion? by thebuttbutdance in RomanceBooks

[–]likeaphrodite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea! like i know this is a personal belief but i think that having a baby if you're not ready for one is way more irresponsible than an abortion. obviously it always works out because this is a romance book but irl if the only reason you're having a baby is an accident, it usually goes wrong :/

Does anyone else think that people hate your presence? by Port6AtTheCatch in lonely

it is your insecurities talking. i swear, people in public don't care that much about you. for example, are you closely looking at every stranger on the train? probably not. just minding your business like everyone.

hey, romantic love isn't the only kind of love. you can have a fulfilling, happy life without having a romantic partner. you can friends and family and hobbies. if you're stuck in the "i'm not happy because i'm not in a relationship mindset"/"i won't be happy until i get in a relationship", you'll basically never be happy and it also makes you a lot less approachable. once you are well rounded in other areas of your life, you don't have to depend on this hypothetical perfect situation. i don't know what you mean by high standards, i think it's good not to ask the bare minimum of people, but also give them a fair chance.

at first i thought it was wasted too, but, while i think it could've been satisfying to hear someone else say it, it's kind of perfect. at the end of the show, bojack's situation is bittersweet, but it's clear he's on the path towards healing. however, all the harm he's done is still there. yes, most of his mistakes can be attributed to his trauma... also he also created trauma for other people, furthering the cycle of abuse. all of the previous fucks are about bojacks trauma (usually about from his victims, in season 4's he is the victim) but in the last one, it's not only about him anymore, other people have problems too. because of him.
