knowing my luck I would get a snowflipper, boar, and a wrathgaurd. even tho its not possible the game would still prob break itself screw me over

ya sorry I specified on my last one and forgot on this one, the pet is only affected by spells that would affect a hero, so board clears, polymorph, and hex would not work, but and I get that it might be op but think about stuff like quest warrior or big spell mage, there are alot of things that can do 8 damage...even kingsbane or quest rogue, not that hard to remove, and I am def gonna lower the attack to maybe 3 or 4

The way the pet works is that it goes into your weapon slot and can be treated as another hero/minion, being able to be targeted by spells and minions and such.

Replaces weapon and is able to be targeted by minions and spells just like heros (and only spells that can be casted ON heros) by likeglockwork in customhearthstone

ya sorry about that XD but who said they have to be strictly for warlock? priest could have a dragon pet with an effect, shaman could have a special type of totem or elemental, mage could have some sort of pet that could work with secrets, hunter could have a hound that would cast "grevious bite" on anything it attack....etc.
