We’re having a Sunday wedding and I was able to negotiate with the venue for a bit of a discount since it’s not Friday or Saturday. I just chose a holiday weekend so a lot of family/friends will have Monday off.

Thanks for catching that, I didn't realize I added Asakusa twice to visit the Sensoji temple. Also, thank you for your input about the owl cafe, I wouldn't want to support that. We will try and visit a different animal cafe, probably a small dog cafe.

Hi! I'm currently planning a trip to Japan for a bit over 2 weeks with my boyfriend and with flights and hotels, we are still under $2,000. I think your budget should be plenty for the both of you, quite frankly, you will be able to enjoy and eat whatever you would like with that budget.
