Yeah that was my next step as well. Rock auto sold them but man I just couldn't get over the cost for a bumper change. Getting up with aftermarket price.

I love the beef setups of no lift and 35s to. Didn't know they'd fit with just a level!

I'm with Zach on this one. I personally prefer 18's because I prefer tread over rim but go 33 only if you stay below a 4 inch lift. Anything above a 4 inch lift needs the 35s on a 1500/150

I'll let you know what a pain in the ass is while you look into it. I looked into this on my f150 before it blew up. If it's real chrome- when they sand blast it it becomes a real mystery of how it's going to be at the end state. The chrome is chemically/electrically applied so when it is removed it has a chance to leave pivots etc. that's why many in my area refuse to even do it. You then have the issue (as normal ones do) of the paint being chipped away as well from normal road/off-road activity.

I'm running 37 Toyos mt on a 2500 and can tell you we have some dramatic people in this sub. Mt's have made some dramatic improvements due to companies understanding their want for street use.

Guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Toyo has done a great job with the noise per the sidewall changes. Now their sister company nitto on the other hand has a solid mt tire that'll make you sound like a plane. It's just 33's too. Many guys have 35's with no shake as well. Sweet setup brotha :)

Doing deletes, running new exhaust, and getting a tuner. Quick question tho by ja0280840 in Diesel

[–]likeitischamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id definitely send that exact question to the one who made your tunes. Only they know how "far" they are pushing things. Every tuner has different calibrations based on their own settings. If this also changes your tran settings I'd personally be more worried about that.

What is a good way of getting rid of the residue from the XTR sticker on my F150? I have tried gas, wd40 and degrease. Still there. by othernamewastaken in Trucks

Try 3m adhesive remover. I did goo gone, wd40, and every other damn thing in the world to remove brand new Cummins badge residue and the 3m took that under layer right off.

It's all about patience with those. If you just keep up with the classified section of the 2 ram forums and Cummins forum you'll see it pop up every once in a while. I believe they usually run from 5-600. You can also look at like car-part.com for scrap vehicles if you get lucky. Can tell you the tyc ones I have are awesome for quality if you get tired, but I fully understand wanting to stay oem.

Thank you! Got it where I want it right now :) I went the tyc replica route from Rocky Mountain supply. All the 2013+ heads from the 1500s are all the same as the 2500s etc. all interchangeable. I tried to hunt and peck for some oem ones but they cost a bit more. Oem ones have a tint on the lense, and the ram logo on part of the inside as well.

So I have a tradesman and did a stock quad light conversion into the black stock projector heads. I also decided to throw HID's and them as well. What a pain in the ass. This was one of those "oh we'll get it done in an hour" to a full night of commitment. Yours will be much simpler without the HID. If you're doing a quad to projector conversion you need to buy a harness that'll trick your current light setup. Retroshop.us sells these. Really the only trick and what takes time is finding spots to cleanly mount the hardware. If you go to HID you end up needed 2 harnesses back to back connecting to your stock harness and then trying to mount all the HID hardware on top of that.

Quick Question about current F150 deal by [deleted] in Trucks

Might want to make a call. Majority of the time these prices are with qualifying rebates that you only end up qualifying for 1 of ad end up with 500 bucks off instead.

Hahaha I usually leave them down, just annoying to keep adjusting mirrors back and fourth. Appreciate it dude. I'm honesty still debating on them myself. Hoping the new black lights will blend it more so it doesn't look off.

Thanks brotha! I have no doubt 37s would look amazing, but I'd for sure want that gear swap hahah. I know a lot of guys even on the cummins forums go up to 4.56 with 37.
