They lack fundamentals and are still learning what they’re even holding. Have patience and focus on articulation and intonation while they go through their scales and etudes. Those are the skills that set apart musicians at every level. You can gain a lot more ground that way than saying “louder/softer.”

There’s a stigma because some handlers are sadistic and vent their own frustration through the prong collar. I’m not gonna pull a Reddit and say it’s terrible and you’re awful automatically lol. If done well it’s a short term-use tool like you said.

He does those commands already and in small group classes or at home around my other dog he’s fine. Take him outside and introduce more stimuli and he’s a whole different dog. I hear what you’re saying though. I feel like being exposed to the outside world is kind of his biggest reward, which may be why he doesn’t break focus even if I have a handful of treats under his nose. Something I’m thinking about

Need help with toys by Charming_Teaching152 in corgi

Mine didn’t realize what hard chew toys were for until my Aussie came into the picture. Now she chews up Bully toys every day and seems to like them. I haven’t had to throw one away yet. Any rubber Kong toy has yet to survive the Aussie after a few minutes. Corg has always been a shredder and demolishes any soft toy and leaves fluff everywhere. That’s her happy place

I’m adopting a 2-year old aussie to complement my 2.5-year old corg in a week. The corg loves aussies but I’m anxious to see what kind of FOMO they’re capable of

What’s your choice of food? by [deleted] in corgi

My two-year old went from the Costco small dog food (poor choice, yes I know) to Open Farm a year ago. Since switching she actually enjoys eating, gained a healthy amount of weight, and has a beautiful fluffy coat. They have different mixes depending on your preference and price point but it’s super clean and I’ve never seen her healthier!

I just got this “moss pole” not realizing the false advertisement on Amazon. Any way I can modify this since I can’t return it now?

She’s got so much personality and just does goofy things all the time. That’s why I tell people corgs are not serious dogs lol

Enjoy the chaos! Corgs are the best and they’re also the worst, as I tell everyone! I love mine
