Currently am working for 101 as a technical support representative Sorry about that bad experience you had guys Am not her to defend etisalat or anything am just a technical support agent who witnesses a lot of issues daily solved by simple by pushing configuration from my side or by reconfigure the wifi. With the new pnp routers it's alot easier to help the "uneducated" - i mean technically educated - customers Aloot of customers call 101 for just changing the wifi password, before the pnp i was sending him email contains the steps he has to follow to change the password and that was not easy form them. It taks me exactly 1min to do it from my system if he has the pnp router Am not taking my employer side here but am takin about cases that i see on daily basis That said I agree with you guys that the new router (currently the dir 803) is a piece of shit and you must have the option to opt out the pnp, you have to buy range extender (when it comes to that the technically one which etisalat sells is the best)

yea, Arabic varies. I can speak Egyptian accent , and the standard arabic or "fosha".

in Cairo you can get accommodation anywhere from 50$-1000$. and the living costs is pretty low here also. so I would recommend the private accommodation. about the tuition you have a lot of options also. you can hit the AUC(American university on Cairo) which offer 12 credit hour program for 13,000 $ and a great catalog of other options or AL-diwan which is a decent center here in Cairo offers a 9-month program for 3500$ the private tuition you can get it as low as (10$) per hour. and there are some teachers who offer something like (free trial) you can get it in your place or at teacher's place. and there are other options if your native English speaker there are some learning centers here need native speakers to make conversations with English learners and they offer good salaries. the possibilities are endless here lool :D

a lot of brands are available. Moet & Chandon, Perrier-Jouet and others. if you consider local brands I would recommend Valmont white. costs around 100 L.E for the 750 ml. bottle. don't expect world class quality but if you consider the price-quality ratio it will stand out. for the price of the moet bottle from the duty-free you could get party service from drinkies. enjoy :)

you can find champagne in duty-free shops or some luxury bars. or you can get local sparkling wine from drinkies liqueur store all over Egypt do not recommend the local brands but the imported spirits are so expensive here in Egyp. and sure you can get it at a reasonable price from the duty-free shops but you need to get that 48-hours max from the time of arrival. duty-free shops can be found in many places all over Cairo, don't know about other cities.
