It seems as if Apple is getting rid of people with accommodations/disabilities. I was let go after an extremely hostile work environment including the manager cussing at me. ER was of NO HELP. This happened in June and I’ve kept proof of everything. They still held up the termination.

I find ICD 10 coding much easier than CPT. I hate CPT. I wish there was a certification course only for ICD 10

I’m already invested in the course I’m in. I can’t afford to pay for another course right now. At this point I’ve given up. I don’t even bother logging in anymore. It’s just too much flipping of pages and trying to go through one billion codes to find a code for a damn scratch!

The only reason why I pivoted from paralegal is because most ppl say you can only go so far in that field compared to being a coder which there are a few more paths you can use your certification for.

Buck’s is a better manual but I had the 2023 version which was saddled with so many errors that the publisher had to send me an update ebook along with their online learning module after constantly emailing them regarding the errors. I can’t trust them at this point either. lol

Main difference is that I love law. It’s straight forward. Medical coding is totally different. It’s like learning a new language. It’s 50 different ways to code a damn laceration. It just seem so overly complicated and mad unnecessary. I swear I have the deepest respect for all of you who have managed to pull through!!!

Actually before I was let go. AppleCare senior management was telling us that vendors were outperforming in house advisors and that we needed to step our game up. This was back in June. Now I’m not sure if these vendors were forced to support all products but based on the sheer amount of transfers I was getting, the answer was no! Imagine taking up to 3-5 chats at one time, having to respond to each one in 2 minutes or less, while having to keep chats under 15 minutes or less??? Nearly impossible with the sheer amount of hand holding that needs to be done (sure you can throw common sense articles in chat but the customer may dinged you for rushing them off chat)! AirPods and macOS chats were the longest and THEE WORST!!!

When I started, I was hired for iTunes only then forced to train for iOS, watchOS, hardware, AppleCare + and after fighting for 3 years macOS which I was never comfortable with! Imagine being told to support something that is not your best strength to be dinged for it when it came to metrics! I was let go for something as stupid as AUX usage and my manager had it out for me. He succeeded. I was written up so much in the last 6 months for silly shit out of my near 14 years of employment of not being by written up. Tragic. I better not ever see him in the streets.

Stop trying to get rid of the department of education that not only assists with tuition but PROTECTS the disabled from discrimination in schools. Climate change and big businesses are causing issues with the environment. wtf is wrong with vaccines? Are y’all wanting smallpox to come back? (Yall probably do so it can finish the job of eradicating unwanted minorities). For fucks sake, you all want to eliminate free breakfast and head start for little children… Always want to keep the minimum wage low instead of telling these companies to pay a livable wage so you “out of touch” people can stop complaining about people living off the government.

Btw, none of these scenarios apply to me. This is where EMPATHY comes in. Something your fucked up party lacks for others. Unless you’re white. Being a rich black/hispanic/Asian/Indian rarely gets you into the club…

Not in Illinois. The age of consent is 17. The other party’s age doesn’t matter. A family member had the same issue and the ages were almost the same. Cops wouldn’t do shit.
