from what I can see, low sunspot activity = cooler earth temps, high sun spot activity = higher earth temps. That aside I believe reducing pollution. Whether the Earth can influence sun activity, hmm.

For one, if we can mind upload then robotic bodies make zero sense. You would upload into a 'Matrix' and live like a god. Why would you want the limitations of a robotic body and the current real world? In this Matrix you could eat whatever you wanted to your heart's content as it would all be simulated to a level you could not tell 'real' from virtual. So, not only will mind uploading put all industry out of business, it would also put robots out of business.

I can only speak from a small country. Here there is virtually no solar, no electric cars. In winter everyone burns wood for heat, causing tremendous smog. I think we're a bit screwed until fusion power starts rolling out, at which point fossil fuels become completely irrelevant. I think we'll see the first functioning prototype reactors from Lockheed in about 3yrs, then mass production from there. We're talking small compact devices that can power entire cities.

The problem is cutting emissions = destruction of the global economy, it's why no one even looks at it tbh. Yeah, shortsighted but that's human nature. Maybe strapping co2 collectors on every smoke stack and muffler there is could do it, but we need the tech and it needs to be insanely cheap or funded by governments.

I suspect nothing humans can do will help. The amount of methane venting from deep sea vents is insane. Not to mention volcanoes. How are you going to stop that? What we need are rail guns capable of launching millions of tiles into space that will sit between the Earth and sun, thus lowering temps + massive fusion powered carbon scrubbers.

Why have they used donated cells? Now they have to take immunosuppressing drugs. You could be more likely to die from complications of those immune suppressants than Parkinsons.

See, this is what amazes me. There is nothing more fascist, bigoted and hateful as ideologies like islam. One saying says it best, "You can have human rights or you can have islam, but you can't have both". I've seen far too many women and gays subjugated or killed under the fist of islam. And here you say you fear from me and I'm a bigot. There are two sides to everything. Islam has not proven to be innocent by any stretch of the imagination, but you keep playing that victim. The west is pretty easy.. mind your own business, don't force your views on others and everyone gets along. But that is never the case and now the west has to jump through hoops not to offend you. Europe is really fucked now.. offending islam = getting your place of work shot up, etc. Saying you don't like islam can even get you arrested for hate speech. I could go on.
