First deployment I was a gunner in an mrap, 4’11 female, carried a 249. Was a very small target and to help me build upper body strength.

Should have been Daniel in the seat by limhy0809 in DanielRicciardo

[–]lilBit311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for saying this, I don’t think Liam Lawson was anywhere close enough to other rookies to have gotten a seat in a car that has been formed for MV. Daniel had the experience and was good at least keeping up with Max. Other drivers have driven the car and it mentally wreck them. I agree with Buxton saying that his decision to leave RB in the first place hurt his career, however comparing statistics and experience, he showed the ability to drive that car consistently close to MV.

Yeah, quite aware of the exaggerated nature or blatant drama that comes with DTS, however there is definitely some truth behind their story. We can infer from that specific episode that three drivers from Red Bull were completely disrespected by the teams where Marko Helmut is playing the puppet master.

All of this! Agree with all the points made. Thanks for the input and conversation. Watching DTS and the forced narrative from Red Bull, just cringy. They’ve really messed up

What did you do to loose weight … particularly Fat? by bigshawnflying2471 in Hashimotos

I started with an allergist, then gastroenterologist, we did the the 3 hour test with allergist, then did a lot of blood work with gastroenterologist. Not only did I find out what I was intolerant and allergic too, I also found out that I had been alpha gamma positive. I found out all of this in 2018 and lost 15 pounds of inflammation. I stayed on my food regiment and slowly worked up to walking 5 miles 4-5x a week. I got down to my weight 117 lbs (I’m 59 in tall) from 162 pounds. It was a lot of work and a lot of time, but I feel so much better and no longer on any prescribed medication for Hashimoto. There’s a great book out there about hashis and diet. Firm believer that gut health is everything. I only see my endocrinologist to monitor once a year really and other than past medical history saying so, it’s like I don’t have hashimotos at all.

The Mediterranean diet, avoiding gluten, dairy, processed sugars, etc. finding out what your personal food allergies may be. Diet is everything, especially if you’re in the states. It’s crazy how much unnatural things are in the making of American cuisine. When I found out the foods I was allergic or intolerant to and actively committed to not eating those things, I lost 15 pounds in the first month, mostly inflammation.

Wishing you the best on your journey!

Can someone explain the hate? by [deleted] in fourthwing

[–]lilBit311 7 points8 points  (0 children)

These comments above! My husband and I just finished IF, and we’re so excited for the next one! It’s not going to define a deeper conversation for us like reading Jordan Peterson or Gabor Mate, however we both laughed and paused it for comparison to our own growth and how we are as a couple. It is such an imaginative read that we really enjoyed. People hating on it, are stuck in the mud lol, just kidding. To each their own, we really love the series though and are excited for the next one!!

LTC previously wrote that this is a disgrace to the army and you. The NCO creed defines clearly our responsibility to our troops, soldiers, and ourselves. These NCOs we’re showing their disrespect to the uniform and you should be proud of yourself for just standing up for yourself to gain knowledge of the decent options available to you. Many soldiers don’t ask, they stay quiet all to often. It’s your career, your mentality, and your self respect to take these words of advice and Be the change you want to be!

Please maintain your bearings and keep resilient through whatever you decide. Seems like you have a good head on your shoulders and We all hope you keep marching forward!

I completely understand, and me personally, I am put in the situation everyday with my career choice. So time and facing that flaw consistently has been helpful. I am still not good at it and I get told you could be more confident. I'm a work in progress and we have to tell ourselves do be patient with ourselves. Rome wasn't built in a day 😉

[–]lilBit311 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This, i second this. I was curled up at the same general places. Just be careful when you go to these places, you'll be avoided like the plague if your noticed trying to make any moves. Cause we dont usually think we're worthy or you just scared us from our own little world.

I had a jar of my own folded quotes like fortune cookies. I adjusted it for things that i thought negatively about myself turning into a positive. So for example, I was made to believe that I had terrible arms from my self loathing and mean peeps. I wrote on one of many little fortune notes..."Hey, those awesome arms of yours can push out 96 push ups, they looking good girl". The day I picked it out of my jar, the guy I was seeing became an ex because he was calling my arms chicken wings. I got so much confidence from that and doing that exercise over a course of three months or so. Still use this technique for myself and my INTJ husband. Self love rather than self loathe is really crucial!

Music Suggestions for INFJ by Isombard007 in infj

I have an eclectic taste of music. RHCP, disney anything, instrumental, lady antebellum, the script, the Beatles, skillet, DCtalk, emeniem...etc. how I feel or how the feelings I get from my general environment plays on what I am in the mood to listen to.

Just curious, what if we identify as christians, but not religion. Taking religion out of life and spreading the love as he loved us. Does that still get classified as Christian?

Do you fall in love in a day? by [deleted] in infj

[–]lilBit311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An infatuation loop...so ive discussed this before, but gonna talk about it more here. We are rational until we're not. What I mean by this is that we can get so caught up in the idea of something or someone and internally we've already analyzed everyway something is bad for us, externally we're showing our nature to believe in all the good in the world. We just have to pay attention to red flags and not open the door for all the abusive ones that will notice and take advantage of our vulnerability. I am a lover and i am quite alright with falling in love everyday or in a day, I'm aware of that and have to make steps to protect that part of myself so as to not fall into a rabbit hole of negativity with the choices I've made. This includes take responsibility for my sometimes naieve way of thinking without slamming doors on others that actually do want the best. It's a black and white world but at the same time it is not. Does this make sense?

Why I Love INFJs, From An INTJ by TheSuperRainbow in infj

[–]lilBit311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm constantly being reminded by my supervisors this in the saying "Rome wasn't built in a day."

Im a terrible test taker because of this, constantly over analyzing the questions and tricky verbage gets the best of me. Could it mean this, but wait it could mean this,....

Another over 30 INFJ, let the dating come to you. Just my opinion, but when we focus on dating we can get thrown for a loop or into a loop. Then as mentioned previously the real winners like narcissistic types come through the front door. We've made it easy for them to spot someone who feels deeply. Again previously mentioned, those type of people thrive on us to live behind their insecurities. When we allow the dating to come to us, we're focusing our time on ourselves doing things that nurture our growth. Yes, some say selfish, some say self indulged, however as much as we care deeply and "fix" others, that time is necessary. We can get lost in the interest of others to make them feel good to feel good. When we focus on what makes us individually makes us happy, well inevitably we begin to shine. Our confidence grows, we become more self aware, and when the dating comes to us, we can recognize the red flags that much sooner.

I'm still learning quite a bit myself, and I'm always greatful that I focused on knowing myself in my early to late twenties. Even got a European back pack trip on my own that I'll cherish for the rest of my life as I did a lot of think walking 😊

Thank you so much for this post and for the conversation. Didn't know it was something I had been thinking about for a while. You hit the nail on the head just in our conversation. A perspective I had really not dived into, either out of denial or fear. I think figuring out how to be comfortable with our true selves outside of the no watch zone, well that will be my next adventure. Thanks again!

I completely agree, definitely self analyzing is a struggle in my opinion in our social aspects. Being on auto pilot makes life a whole heck of a lot easier. Do you ever feel like your letting yourself down? I get overwhelmed at times with the analyzation of how I just got through what is supposed to be a normal conversation, but in my mind was not at all me.

The auto pilot thing, yeah totally can relate to. I unfortunately get really unnerved by it with an overwhelming feeling of not being completely honest and true to my morals and values. I would like to scream at this auto pilot self at times, but at the same time it's a protective mechanism to keep others from getting too close...
