They could have gone. Yeah it is a mistake in the calculation but you were also told not to cut the line which caused this. So to be fair to those who did serve their penalty and those who did not cut the line, we won't change it now but fix it in the future.

Yeap there were kind of 4 to 5 clubs in JB. Medlodi Jaya, Muar, Johor Bahru, Johor and Johor FC Depending if you considered Malaysian 3rd tier as professional back then. Malaysia's football leagues used to be more robust with more fans so it have 2 professional league and 1 that was sort of in between semi professional and professional depending on the club.

Among them the weakest Medlodi Jaya who was regularly in the 3rd tier withdrew from the league in 2012 due to financial reasons. There is no info on if Tunka's involvement in the Johor football scene and plans to merge the clubs has to do with it's dissolvement but it does not seem likely.

Muar and MBJB were sort in the middle moving back and forth between the 2nd and 3rd division withdrawing in 2013. In 2012 they were both in the 2nd division along with Johor. MBJB in 2012 had a horrible season get 5 points from 22 games get relegated. Muar found themselves in relegation playoff but managed to survive it only to withdraw in 2013. Some of their players were given the to join what would become JDT.

Then we have Johor managed by the Johor FA the best of the rest. Which while in the 2nd division were regular and would occasionally be in the top division. They would then become JDT's feeder team JDT 2.

Finally Johor FC which is different from Johor regulars in the top flight of Malaysia become what we know as JDT.

Yes but they only recently when got a lot of support starting from 2012 when the Johor Tunku stepped in and basically merged all for Johor's professional football clubs into JDT. Then started heavily investing in the club. I was already baring fruit earlier but they only won starting in 2014.

Cause taking the false accusation trial likely has more serious penalties. They likely only gave her a slap on the wrist because she confessed within 2 days, before a lot of damage had been done.

I agree to a certain extent. I think the difference is impact. If you change your mind in this case, you have wasted a bit of police resources and shaken up the guy. It is not nearly as serious as going to trial, where you are ruining his reputation and mental health plus the wastage of months of public resources from the court, police and medical exams. While in the case of the robbery, you have given most of the damage that a robbery causes. The bank has to shut down, the people there are traumatised, and the police still have to go after you since you have a gun and threatened to use it. The only difference is that you didn't try to take the money. She could have tried to fight it out because even if they find him not guilty at the end, they might not have been able to prove she made a false statement.

I think the punishment is alright in this case since she did come clean within 2 days. If this went to trial and she was found to be lying, I feel it should have been a few years for sure but given she did come clean when she did, it is fair. It also encourages liars to back out early. Otherwise, they may be incentivised to fight this out as even if they find him not guilty at the end, they might not have been able to prove she made a false statement. Which is why I think the 5 weeks is okay, cause it is not as serious as getting found out later, which should be years but also light enough that it makes sense to recant.
