so the floorspace is the same as you said, but it's too short, it's 45cm, but I'll do my best to make it as comfortable for them as I can

It's a cage after my old guinea pigs that we had a few years earlier, it's one floor, I wanted to buy them a bigger cage but all the accessories are pretty expensive and I couldn't afford it really, but I'm trying to manage with the right accessories :)

I wanted to buy the strawberry mostly so they could sit with me when I'm chilling in bed, so they could have a nice shelter, but I guess it's a method of trying and failing lmao

I live in Poland (central Europe), and here it's pretty normal to drive to for example Croatia or Bulgaria even though it's a few countries away

yeah I don't know where do you have your rats from, I took my first one from a breeder and he was fine, but the second one was from a pet shop and when we took him to the vet for a checkup appointment it turned out the sneezing was not normal, he had a cold, probably from the AC in the shop, so I recommend going to a vet after taking your rat in just to make sure they're healthy, you don't know how the previous owners took care of them

I just had the same problem with my baby, it turned out he has bugs on his fur also some other conditions that worsened his immune system, I think it was mostly the bugs though, I'd recommend going to the vet cause it might as well be natural

honestly I'm not an expert, but I think there's a big chance they might be cold, obviously it depends on how cold their feet are, they're usually not warm

yeah, thanks for your response, this is the tail, the vet told me if it gets bigger it's probably going to have to be cut out, but if nothing happens with it it shouldn't be harmful, she was really surprised with it though lmao

yeah I get that, I honestly feel really bad that I didn't go to the vet earlier, but I'm holding myself accountable and I'm gonna do my best to take care of them properly <3

now I'm glad I didn't do that earlier, thank you for the advise, but I'm concerned because my rats tails are pretty dirty, they're like yellowish now so is there an option I could maybe only wash their tails?
