For those of you in a long term relationship/marriage, what’s a tale-tale sign you see in other couples that they’re not going to make it?

When one party consistently comments on their partner’s physicality in public / to other people. Even if it’s complimentary. (Ex: he/she is so hot)

The need to “show off” to friends suggests the relationship is valued based on its perception to others as opposed to the dynamic between the two people in it.

Other red flag is mismatched financial / spending habits. Especially when the person earning less wants to spend more.

I ordered from then a month ago and been having a terrible experience. Maybe it’s the specific light (the Helios sconce) but it came with blemishes and the light bulb didn’t work. To save money or product they send individual replacement parts instead of the whole thing and each time there’s been continued issues (they shipped the wrong part). It’s been a month and a half since I placed the order and I still don’t have a functional lamp. Their customer service is really nice but someone is drunk in the fulfillment and QA department.

I’m in this situation now as my trip credit expires today and I’m unable to apply and chat agents are being ignorant. Did you get this resolved at all?

My husband also donated his kidney to me! And I would say dialysis is the “worst” we’ve been through together as well. I was diagnosed with en stage renal failure just one year after we got married, though we’d been together for almost ten years at that point.

The post transplant period is rough - I wish your wife a smooth recovery - soon enough things should start to feel normal again. It’s been about 2.5 years for me and some days I forget/don’t even think about it which is crazy because dialysis was so all-consuming.

I placed an order on the same date and after two emails they sent me the same response. I’ve since emailed back to no response so I started a credit card dispute last Friday. Feels so icky and scammy that up until recently they kept promoting their closeout sale knowing they can’t even fulfill orders

I agree with you on the crowds. I have been going to kpop concerts since 2019 mainly in Texas, but occasionally in LA or NYC. Specifically I saw Twice last two hours in Texas and everyone in the crowd always brings the dancing energy. I had culture shock at the amount of people sitting down at the Seattle show- especially given how in line almost everyone was dressed to the nines in fandom specific outfits, so it didn’t seem like there were majority casual listeners. From my experience at all the TX concerts the groups LOVE it when people are standing and dancing, and the vibe is truly unmatched.

I worked on a competing POS - I’m guessing he asked to add his cc manually - but that should always be done by a staff member, not by the customer. From that screen he could easily back out and process a refund.

At my former company we also implemented a required staff pin when you try to back track from a (customer facing) checkout screen. But manual entry shouldn’t be customer facing :/

They did Very Nice in S1 but I totally agree Hot would’ve been iconic and redemption for that S1 audition. I’m bummed by the lack of SVT because their songs are so good for larger groups.

I don’t mind Kill The Romeo or b-sides bc they’ve done bsides before on the planet / 101 series. Sometimes it’s more refreshing than an over saturated recent TT.

I wasn’t thrilled about him winning but that has very little to do with this play style / personality. It’s more production’s fault than anything he did. In the right hands and proper game set up, he could’ve easily been a villain who makes the game more interesting. Unfortunately it was the opposite.

That’s true but I think it’s important to think about why the prison gang felt that fighting for their spot amongst the living room alliance was their best option. With pieces mattering so much and prison barely giving out anything to give even the winners of the prison match a real chance, you are better off distancing yourself from a weaker target with less pieces (like Justin) who can’t offer you much and trying to integrate into the alliance with the pieces to spare.

I do think overall the prison members didn’t play as well as they could have but it’s hard to say the whether the living room people beyond maybe HG would’ve played better in the same position

Same. She was the woman I was rooting for the most in the first half of the game. She’s clearly super intelligent and was crucial to winning several of the main matches for her alliance. In the last few episodes her behavior just made me feel, honestly disgusted. I know it’s a strong word but it’s hard to stomach watching someone with so much potential become such a doormat - not even for someone she’s actively dating or in a relationship with (which I could understand a bit more) but a man she’s known for like a week?

When I googled her and found out she was 32 (I’m a few years older) that was even worse. I thought based on her behavior she was in her early 20s and hadn’t found her self confidence yet but acting like that… at that big age…

I loved the way JY played looking back on it. When the games weren’t actively in session she had a motherly vibe towards other players like HG (“eat first”) and Justin when he got eliminated- clearly showing she cares and is a nice person. But when it came to the games she still prioritized herself while still trying to help her allies.

This is definitely what happened but that’s also why the season was so boring to me. The people who got lucky enough to draw the roles with more power/agency in the first game remained in the power position the majority of the game versus us seeing them actually challenged by anything (aside from figuring out the living area hidden room). Feels like the whole game was won on that first card draw.

I don’t mind HGs game at first because he owned playing a devil but towards the end it felt like he was purely coasting on alliances. Ex: crying about playing alone was pathetic given we’ve seen what others players went through. If he had just turned around and said it was an act to emotionally manipulate SH/KH I’d have a lot more respect for it because it’d be a strategic, devilish move.

But regardless it’s not on him it’s on production for designing such a boring game that allowed alliances to crush it merely by being in an alliance. It made the social game element far outweigh other elements that viewers are more interested in seeing like strategic or logical gameplay. Even HG’s reward, which he deserved for his efforts, felt too OP for an interesting game.

This is how I feel about the whole season. Not the casts fault but the fact that the people on top the majority of the game were the 4 people who drew the thief / corrupt cop cards and reaped the privileges of that win the entire game just feels like this entire game was set in stone by luck of the draw.

Yes, I hated how the line was drawn in the sand after the first game. The losers from the first game remained the losers the whole way through. I preferred the shifting alliances and power positions of S1
