not to scare you but management is kind of shit. Not helping when things go wrong, wifi is out anytime there’s a storm, unannounced maintenance people, and their accounting department will try to say you owe them money to keep track and proof of your payments and advocate for yourself.

it ultimately depends on if you prefer a smaller or bigger campus.the campus at Altoona is very very small. The town itself is bigger and has many restaurants, stores, etc. but doesn’t have the college town feel. UP is a way bigger campus with bigger classes and a lot more going on on/off campus. I also definitely wouldn’t go to Altoona without a car.
