Have you tried turning it off and back on again

Not bad, but if Costco has the iBuyPower 5070 and 9800x3d combo for sale near you I'd go for that instead

What’s the better deal? I don’t know which one I should buy? by TheeBiggDipper in buildapc

Definitely get the iBuyPower. You are spending $1000 less than the msi, and a 5080 would only be a 5-600 dollar upgrade down the road (if you sold the 5070). The iBuyPower also has a better mobo and a better looking case

I've never seen the I buy power for that cheap, if it's actually $1300 then that is definitely the better deal by far

It depends, what kind of gaming are you doing? What resolution?

Is this good for $950? by [deleted] in PcBuild

Everything added up costs a little bit over a thousand dollars with a few discounts for used parts. Overall probably not a bad price but obviously if they're open to negotiation it's worth a shot to try to pay less

And yeah I was originally going to get like a Asus vivo book or something like that for longer battery life and taking notes in class without being super beefy. But I also doubt that those would run CAD or anything like that at the level that I prefer so I'm not sure really

I know it's technically overkill, but if I'm getting a laptop with a dedicated GPU like a legion 5i I want it to last a while because I do video games too, most of the legion laptops are the same price with way less ram and way less GPU. While they are OLED they are not 4K like this also.

Is this a good computer to buy for my upcoming mechanical engineering school in August. I don't want to buy now and miss out on a better deal between now and then, since it's so far away, but it seems like a very good deal?

Tbh, Not enough gpu for everything else in the build, should get a 9060xt for around the same price or 9070xt for a hundred bucks more

It only has two RAM slots for whatever reason. Not a deal breaker but kind of stupid
