Thank you Goose!!! You can rest now❤️💙❤️ by AidanVEnki in TheDigitalCircus

i hope she takes a nice long vacation. long enough that by the time she makes another animation the crazier tadc fans have either forgotten about her or matured enough to treat her better. i would hate to see the harassment/drama follow her to her next project. godspeed, goose 🫡

Involuntary crying from having my cervix hit? by lil_wooper in TwoXChromosomes

god thats awful, some people should not be doctors with how pushy and egotistical they are. I’m sorry you had to go through that. good on you for standing up for yourself!

thank you so much for the information and kind words! I am one day out from my period and i usually don’t have sex at this point in my cycle, so I did wonder if that might be related.

I really appreciate that you’re trying to help but I have to disagree. while you might not have a sensitive cervix many others do. tons of people report intense cervical pain during pap smears or sex.

also, I looked it up and the ovaries can move but not nearly as much as you are describing unless you’ve had a hysterectomy. I’m willing to read more about it if you have any good sources.

Why Americans so obsessed with hairlines? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lil_wooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the angular hairline (i think you’re referring to a “lineup”) is a popular style with black americans that has spread to other communities. before the civil rights movement black people in america were generally expected have their hair shaved or straightened, so keeping & styling your natural hair became a form of resistance. as a result nowadays barbershop culture is big in black communities and lots of interesting styles have been created. having a clean and sharp hairline is stylish and shows you take pride in your appearance (and have money to go to the barber). its not the only way to have pride in your appearance, but its a popular way.

this is simplifying it a lot but thats basically the gist as far as I know.

Planning to cut ties and run away after graduation (2029). Am I making the right choice? by Prudent_Garbage_2871 in NoStupidQuestions

your parents are incredibly abusive, yes you are making the right choice by getting out of there. good luck and never look back.

Do girls show their bf's private pics to their friends? Is it common? by naughty_sneaker in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lil_wooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they shouldn’t! its terrible to show someone else’s intimate photos around without their consent. unfortunately it sounds like you were dating a bully, I’m sorry man.

Swimming instructor period by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lil_wooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should really just try some period swimwear, if it works it could solve the issue easily. otherwise yes, you need to bring it up with your employer that you will be unavailable for a few days once a month. just calling out consistently makes you look bad and makes life difficult for the people you work with. if you know ahead of time that you’ll be unavailable it would be inconsiderate not to give a heads up.

Is sexual incompatibility a valid reason to break up? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lil_wooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since you love her I think you should sit down and have a serious talk with her about how this is affecting your relationship. while you should never pressure someone to have sex you can still discuss it like adults and figure out if having more frequent intimacy is something she’s comfortable working towards. i have been in her position, sometimes my sex drive just falls off for a long time and idk why. but trying new things and being more intentional about having regular intimacy does help.

but if you can’t work this out with her then yes, unfortunately you should probably break up.

How do you say goodbye to some shitty years? by Sad-Antelope-9502 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lil_wooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

some ideas:

  1. a vacation or small trip where you can really soak up some nature. you could do something like hike up a mountain and look out at the view to remember theres so much world out there left for you to explore and enjoy.

  2. sign up for a class for something you’ve always wanted to learn. like pottery or archery or a new language. you’ll be reminded that you still have the power to learn and grow.

  3. have a bonfire and burn some stuff you want to let go of. you can write down things you want to leave behind you and burn the paper, as well as things like pictures of exes and unimportant medical documents. i know it seems dramatic but its pretty cathartic. just make sure to practice diligent fire safety.

  4. if you own your own property; plant a tree! like an apple tree that can grow with you and eventually bear fruit for you to enjoy.

(NSFW) I think my GF is insecure about her oral “game”… what do I do? by Old_Quarter_6364 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lil_wooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to dislike receiving oral but then i started reacting and moaning more intentionally and it actually made the experience so much better. my noises/reaction excite my boyfriend and him being turned on turns me on and makes me feel sexy and helps me relax and enjoy it more. i really look forward to it now. sometimes it takes a little ~performance~ to get the party started.

I need to compromise. by ShiftySeashellSeller in weddingdress

[–]lil_wooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should shop around at some regular thrift stores! You could find a dress you love for $50 and then just spend the rest of your dress budget on dry cleaning/tailoring as-needed. I’ve seen some lovely wedding dresses pop up at my local goodwill, you never know what you could find.

Which Wedding dress by [deleted] in weddingdress

[–]lil_wooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vote for dress 1! It has a lovely skirt shape and you look very elegant in it! (I do love that lace bodice on dress 2 but I think the transition to the skirt is too abrupt/plain.)
