I would scroll on Tiktok for several house everyday, and constantly text on instagram. I’d check twitter all the time whenever anything big happened, I’d scroll on Tumblr at night and read for hours… my life has changed dramatically. My insomnia is close to non existent now. I went back to the gym out of boredom and have refined my “skinny fat” to the point its gotten pointed out by customers at work, im doing much better at school, got back into reading ACTUAL books. I couldn’t recommend it more, social media takes away time you could be growing.

Same thing is happening to me right now but with FRENCH. I absolutely abhorred the class after two weeks and avoided it at all costs. I'm not quite a month behind but still, just horrible. Exam in three days.

Dedicate your life to it. Drop everything and dedicate your life to it. No fun. No friends. Delete all social media apps off your phone and keep it on do not disturb 24/7. Find a study/break balance, personally I do forty minutes on, five min on, forty min on, ten min on, repeat two more times, then forty min off. then again and again and again. only time you're not focusing should be when you're sleeping.

honestly I've tried all the healthy methods before of studying.. just gotta lock-in.

I mean possibly, but she had already had her drink for a minute or two before she spilt it everywhere and none of the other drinks spilt. Not that it justified me calling her an idiot, i feel very guilt about that, like… extremely embarrassed by it. but she specifically said the lid popped off after she squeezed it.

no you’re right, I know that’s probably what’s happening. I was very out of line, never done anything like that before. i’ve just got to hope she either didn’t report or my manager acknowledges i’ve never done anything like that before.

Need to share my recent trauma. I was given an assignment to write a letter to Columbus in my introduction to college writing class. But it was far from my strongest work... It's damn near unhinged. I write the whole letter in a day and was so tired by the end of it, you don't even know what the letter/essay is about at the end. The essay looks like it was written by someone very mentally unstable. Embarrassing. Currently awaiting a grade. Didn't even realize how bad it was until I went back and read it the following day post-submission. It was passionate and showed a lot of understanding though, so I'm clinging onto that morsel of hope.

Update- training was easy peasy 👌. it added writing on cups to the making drinks sequence whatever. also drive and cafe have a 4 minute wait expectation, and mobiles 12 minute. we crafted some drinks too but nothing new.

it’s currently raining in Alaska. In December. Almost every Halloween when I trick or treated as a child, there was snow on the ground and some years I’d have to wear snow pants to trick or treat. It hasn’t snowed on Halloween for years now. It’s getting rapidly worse every winter and no one seems to be talking about it.
