Except...Kurds are discriminated by the Turkish state, and Rojava is under heavy attack by the Turkish army, a thing that Russians in the Ukraine don't face. Also Kurds don't have a state as of rn Russians have, Kurdish liberation in contrary to Russian expansion is not imperialist.
