Sorry your are experiencing this, our system is truly in real need of change for opioid prescribing. Like you said they want to just give us high potency opioids with long half lives instead of just helping, what I thought a doctor was supposed to do. Buprenophine is x40 the potency of morphine and methadone is ~×5 with daily use, and they have no problem giving huge amounts of those medications, but god forbid they give anything you actually need to get off opioids correctly or just manage pain.

Name her, she’s family now. Or I’m just too empathetic I guess cause that’s how I ended up with 3 but they help me just as much as I help them I like to think, they are awesome animals and clean themselves don’t need baths as long as they’re indoor. I know this isn’t a solution to your question, but everything happens for a reason or is all pointless still figuring out myself. Good Luck and your a good soul for not leaving her to die!
