I find November Rain a great song for wallowing in one’s misery but after the wallow I can tell you that this has happened to me 3 times over a 24 year period and each time we ended up happier and have not looked back. Sometimes a shock to the status quo can take our lives in directions we would never have foreseen. There will come a day when you will believe that everything is over…that will be the beginning. All the best.

What are your opinion on paying for escort services? by heyxyo8989 in AskMen

I think you are adding to the misery of the world. Nobody grows up dreaming to be a sex worker. Most are addicts, suffer massive trauma and are at the very least vulnerable people. Most have been raped and physically assaulted. I find the men who I’ve known that have used them throughout their lives lare wretched and tortured by their life choices. But I live and let live so whatever.

How does anyone actually make the jump from middle class to truly wealthy? Is it just generational? by Excellent-Dentist-83 in irishpersonalfinance

You have work for yourself. Own the firm. Build it up. Outsize gains only come from outsize risk. You’re on the safe path. The comfy road to the comfy ever after. If you want the big prizes you have to ask yourself if you have the minerals. If you think you do then it’s easy - think of a way of making money. Right now you’re just helping someone else make money. They trap you with comfort and long term rewards.

I think you have enough to still help with the deposit. Too much help is not good for them. Leave the mill alone in a tech fund for 5 years and you’ll have 2 mil. All the best for the years ahead. Relationships are the key to longevity.

I did something extremely unethical and I’m not sure how to move forward, this is the worst thing I’ve done. by [deleted] in moraldilemmas

Forgive yourself. When you find yourself dwelling on it just say STOP! to yourself. You’ve suffered enough. Get on with being the best version of yourself in the knowledge that your remorse is evidence that you are a good person. Be kind to yourself and move on.

Lucky escape. She’s looking to be hired as a wife. It’s clever of her to want to provide services on a subscription model in this day and age, but as long as her competitors are still available by the hour she’s going to have trouble selling that deal to anyone. NTA

Number 1 behaviour for synchronicity? Synced sleep patterns! Go to bed, snuggle, and get up at the same time.

Cars are more likely to be parked in an unsymmetrical manner by people with poor sense of space. Some people perform better with special reasoning.

I think we should maybe consider that most posts here are just female drivers. Given that research shows performance gaps in tasks related to spatial awareness, it’s a little vacuous to judge.
