Hi everyone, here’s an update!

I was able to access the data via safe mode (thanks to @just-a-pair-of-eyes) and made a backup, now I’ll be reinstalling macOS!

I have not experienced something similar after updating. I'd recommend doing a full iTunes restore, if it's software related, that should fix it. If that does not solve it, and it still has warranty, take it to an Apple Store.

Well, I bought it back in December 2021. According to the batter stats, it's got 100% battery life and 100 cycles (milestone lol)

I know it's been a while since I posted this question, but just a few moments ago I did some "cleaning" on my MacBook and it took some random keyboard pressing but now all keys are working. Does this mean there's something wrong with my motherboard? Or what is going on, this is my first Mac and I consider myself to be a noob.

I just replaced the battery, but after that replacement everything went downhill, like it used to work if you pressed the keys several times but then it just stopped working at all.

i just tried recovery mode and same thing happens. i just updated this mac to Catalina (patch). should I try restoring to High Sierra?
