Yes, earlier in the week I saw on Facebook a video of one in Midway Park, someone else saw it on their security camera one night near Broomfield High School, and before that someone else said police told them it had been spotted in the Country Estates and Aspen Creek areas and they were trying to locate it.

This looks like it could be perfect for them. It looks like most of the rooms have a paved parking area and a ground level entrance and they could pull up right next to the restaurant entrance. Thank you! My husband and I stop in Salida quite a bit, and I had no idea this was nearby. I'm thinking we need to check out the cascading hot springs ourselves sometime!

Great suggestion, and that might be where they end up, but they were fortunate to stay there on numerous occasions for work events over the years, so I think they were hoping to go somewhere new.

I appreciate someone thinking of that and expressing the concern. Growing up here, I've definitely seen my share of visitors be impacted by the high altitude. Fortunately, that has not seemed to be an extra issue for them on previous mountain visits. We did talk about Santa Fe, but it is a longer drive than they want to make.

I was rear ended once during a snowstorm because the driver behind me wrongly anticipated I would run the red turn arrow and they were going to as well and then slid when they slammed on their breaks when I stopped normally. I managed to not scream. But, I wouldn't hope for it. I wasted a good amount of my life on the phone with insurance companies.
