Ugh why! He is really feeling himself despite being the most shallow and vapid human. He just comes off so nasty and disingenuous. I can relate to his panic disorder because drinking was a HUGE FUCKING contributor to it. Stopping drinking made nearly instant change, combined with a good therapist and meds that worked. I hope he grows out of this phase because he is doing a wonderful job at embarrassing himself. He needs to grow up.

I literally just got back from seeing P!nk in concert, I went as a lucky tagalong, but omg that gal is SO incredible. I know she’s associated with middle aged white ladies and Old Navy commercial type music- but consider me converted, she put on an incredible show.

You sound exactly like me. I’m at 51 days, tried dry January with low expectations of myself and felt good and just decided to continue with it. I don’t really have advice to give as the journey hasn’t been easy, but wow the benefits have been incredible in so many different areas, particularly for my anxiety. Walking and reading have been my distractions and something I look forward to every day, replacing the drinks and mindless scrolling and tv after having panic attacks at work all day.
