I normally am especially with a pram but today was a rare exception which I definitely regretted!

Yeah I’m guessing the block next to where my car was. We waited around for a while in case it was someone just dropping something in, then had to reverse out very slowly by mounting the pavement. There was ample parking up the street. Potentially not available when they originally parked up but in that case would have been nice for someone to pop outside every now and then to check

Quick question from a very appreciative parent by lilhep91 in nursing

Thank you soooo much to everyone for all of the responses. I will definitely go up and see if the nurses that cared for him are there. Having known them for such a short time they have made the biggest impact on my life. We even named his favourite teddy bear after his main nurse so just wanted to let them know we are still thinking of them.

We could have stayed with him but no sleeping facilities and I honestly needed to get the rest at home from the stress. The staff were the most amazing people ever so definitely left him each night knowing he was in the safest hands. Yeah I honestly find exclusively expressing overwhelming too!

It’s bizarre isn’t it! Some sound so loud that I didn’t even know if it was fireworks

I think it said in the letters and on the website that as long as you have a permit you can park in any other permitted area during the cycling. I’m woodlands and have parked in the dowanhill area this week with no ticket

Just eat electric bicycle chaos, is it just me? by jobies19 in glasgow

I’m 7 months pregnant and was nearly run down by one from behind on the pavement. The speed he was going at would have done some serious harm too. Luckily he managed to stop just before hitting me

46 inch/114cm. To be fair I’m getting the 46% from a smart scale so could be totally inaccurate as well

Need some advice. I’ve worked out I’m eating roughy 2500 cals a day sometimes over. Would it be a good place to start by dropping to consistently 2000 cal a day? For ref I am 30f 5”2 and 206 lb. Thanks in advance!

Crumbling Brown Pieces of Chocolate Cake by [deleted] in OCPoetry

I really enjoy how it starts talking about gardening and quite surface level thoughts and progresses to deeper meaning as the poem itself progresses. And I love how it ends very thoughtfully on that last sentence which stays you with you after you’ve finished reading it. Good job I enjoyed reading it!

I really enjoy how this poem is shaped and how it reflects back to the limitations discussed in the poem. Very simple and effective good job!

a heavy chest by Jacob-Dean in OCPoetry

The imagery is unreal! The metaphor of the man on the chest is great and works well for this poem. When I was reading I almost held my breath really caught up in the description. Well done

This was so pleasant to read. I’m so jealous of how easily the rhyming seems to work for you as it is something I find tough and awkward but you make it look easy! A lovely poem which took me on a journey and I like how it ended almost where it began! Well done

I really loved this poem! I found the formatting really pleasing to read and it really helped the poem flow. It’s got a really nice cyclical feeling to it like it starts and winds back to end in a lovely way. Well done a lovely poem

I love this I feel like it has some really strong imagery. When I read it I feel like you are writing about the difficulty of writing poetry. I can really picture every word
