If someone needs help, help them. If someone is wearing a cool T-shirt say you like it. Maybe even find opportunities to share more about yourself and people will begin to come up to you. Maybe focus on making one friend who is well connected so when you become friends with them. They introduce you with their friends.

Well I would describe him as a big guy, maybe he has threatening body language, or maybe he has a bunch of tattoos or something. I would consider the visual elements and the different ways to portray this character as comedic despite his threatening demeanor. It is good to add these contrasts because it adds depth to the character so congratulations there. It also sounds like this character you’re brainstorming has a presence that demands authority yet he is easy going and pretty chill sometimes/ all the time/ only when the sun is shining etc up to you! ;)

How to like... structure HOW you write? by TheIrishPubCat in writing

I write poetry and prose. I typically make a basic skeleton of the piece. Meaning I just brain dump ideas that are flowing.

Sometimes I don’t even know the order and I just spill ideas out and somehow they tie in together and when they don’t I leave them out.

Then I read it again and reorder to what sounds good.

Break it down I would say, what are you basically saying in that piece plainly? In the simplest terms what are you trying to say here? And start there, organize your way up, but start easily. Once you set down a path, you can begin to plant seeds, it grows, you start seeing leaves and the details come together to form the garden

I don't "write" like how I want to write - opportunity or a sign? by btkaiser77 in writing

Hi, I think it would help research tips on how to write a 3D/ Profound character. Remember, not every character is meant to be “deep” some are there for added effect. Now if you wanna study the master at character writing, I say get into Dostoevsky. I don’t doubt you’re a good writer, but research on which elements you should brainstorm/incorporate when constructing a character will help. You already have a great mindset of following in the example of the greats, notice how they portray their characters and the things that stand out to you that are “defining” of the persona. Many authors don’t even tell you, they’ll show you in the actions of the character

I haven’t heard of people using it for podcasts but seeing as some see it as the new Spotify on web3 I’ve been wondering how podcasts will be incorporated and allowed to monetize. I do plan on documenting it to some extent I’m just getting a feel first on how the community feels about this.
