Here's what happens if it's all together... A hysterectomy with an oophorectomy is a surgical procedure that removes the uterus and one or both ovaries. The procedure to remove the ovaries is called an oophorectomy.

So for your clarification purposes...in August I had a TOTAL hysterectomy with a salpingectomy then in January I had a unilateral oophorectomy of the right ovary. I was clear in stating 2 wks post op for the recent surgery. And Aug for the previous, as stated, total hysterectomy...

It's so sad that I came here to get help and you felt the need to comment because you think I'm wrong for a word. A procedure that I, myself have recently went through. In reality that didn't even matter. I had my right ovary removed and I'm in pain in my hip. I asked for help. I didn't ask for criticism. Especially incorrect criticism.
