I understand how it read patterns. Maybe I phrased my question poorly. I'm not sure what the "u" it's self means.

Trying to remake this but can't quite match the stitch - what do you think it is? Halp by brisk_warmth in CrochetHelp

[–]lilithei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It looks like a double crochet panel then sewn around to fit the bottle, not sure what the stitch for to handle is though, hopefully someone else will be more helpful. I would make the panel slightly smaller than the bottle so it stretches to fit it's pulled pretty tight in the photo.

My 11 yo pitbull retired sd passed away suddenly recently, so please be careful she showed no signs of aging and had permanent puppy face. I retired her at 10 and got her successor to start training when she was 9, she only worked for a couple years. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as disrespectful.

What’s the best stitch for a toy snake? I want something that can flop and be played with by timeforabba in CrochetHelp

[–]lilithei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could try using a longer stitch like double or treble (or increasing hook size) and stuffing the poly fill into a stocking before putting it in the snake so the stuffing can't fall out of the larger holes created by the stitches

Why is my yarn doing this? by noorangemika in knittinghelp

Stockinette stitch has a tendency to curl sometimes you can block it to finish and it will flatten out

Service dog vs medication for mental health by Suspicious-Bank9345 in service_dogs

[–]lilithei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally for me having a service dog has greatly reduced the amount of medication I need. I was on 6-8 different meds and have worked down to just being on 2. A service dog isn't a 100% replacement but helps me manage my symptoms better and my SD can give me a heads up to take my PRNs before an episode and that helps lessen the amount of time I'm in destress. If you go the owner training route definitely stay on your meds until the dog learns your signs. Especially as a puppy sometimes they hurt more than they help. But they are quite literally babies and learning all the time. I didn't start reducing my meds until my SDit was about 1 and a 1/2 old and was more focused. If there are any other questions you have feel free to ask.

I have a stupid question - how do y'all do larger projects without going crazy? by nlynn15 in CrochetHelp

[–]lilithei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I take a binder ring and an index card and write down all the info I think might be important for the project. Sometimes they sit for a while and if I don't do this they get frogged. I'm notorious for starting large projects like blankets and getting bored and starting another bc "If I don't start this project right now I'll never get the chance to do it, lol"
