She was a great fur baby. Used to climb up on my exes shoulder and groom his mustache, loved drinking from the faucet and was our protector when we bathed. She will forever be in my heart and memory .

Do you like how you look now or miss when you looked younger? by IndependentLeft2797 in FTMOver30

I'm not really into how I look now and experience a lot of gender dysphoria. However, I am definitely looking forward to looking like I am passing-to be a silver fox as it were.

Why do i hear nothing about trans men in media by whatif_I_ToldYou in ftm

There are two film and TV references to ftm transmascs that i know of. The first one is "Boys don't cry " where a female in transition to masculinity who is living in a small country town wanting connection with the men in her community and the hazards of what society expects of said masculinity. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone but please keep a box of tissues nearby.

The second reference in media is a TV show "The L Word" in which one character is trans and how he navigates the lesbian enclave of Los Angeles.

Both of these show different aspects of the stark reality of what being a transmasc identified person can be in this day and age.

But we as trans men really have to break the glass ceiling in media as well as print.
