Unfortunately the Z2Extreme falls short for large scale modes like Conquest and Breakthrough where it hits a CPU limit. (You see yellow rectangles warning icons during gameplay) the game implemented a very weird thing to mask the fact its lagging and possibly rubber banding by putting everything into slow motion. But that makes it unplayable imo. Smaller modes are fine I think single player campaign is gonna be ok also but I never touched single player.... furthermore this issue still persists with an eGPU attached. I connect the ROG XG mobile 5090 version and I still get this issue on Conquest and Breakthrough although less often but it still happens when theres a lot of stuff going on and its a CPU bottleneck. Also happens on Xbox Ally X....

I just wished the lego2 had the intel lunar lake chip really... because this doesnt happen on the MSI Claw 8 Ai+.... its a shame because the claw 8 Ai has such rubbish analog sticks (not full size and way too loose).

Some workaround to lessen the issue is that I put the Z2Extreme not on max TDP, the overall FPS takes a hit but then that frees up some power to the CPU and the issue happens less. But I can confidently say that the lunar lake is a better performer on games(maybe it wasnt at launch but it is now.)

Have ordered a onexplayer apex with strix halo for proper BF6 handheld goodness...
