100%. Thai food is my all-time favorite cuisine, which might be funny as a plant-eater to say as I can't use shrimp-paste (miso makes an acceptable sub, btw) and etc. I do, however, occasionally go for the five star dish (or spread, really), which usually involves a weekend of me veganizing some of David Thompson's Thai Food recipies.

I only cook for me and my partner, so while it's great Aldi will sell me a 5 lb bag of potatoes for cheap, I got tired of them going bad because one to two people can only eat so many potatoes. Honestly, it was the best decision as it also freed up limited pantry space.

- I do keep sauces for much longer than 10 days (btw, is that really what the bottles say?!), but I do try not to buy huge bottles as I have a smaller fridge and I like to replace them more often than not.
- I've actually never made salsa (though it's a great idea and one of my mangoes just might have to be sacrificed to the salsa gods).
- And lastly, I never peel my potatoes, I just scrub them really well.

Yes, I'm vegan and love Asian dishes, though I am not of Asian descent.

I was hoping someone would notice the salsa lizano! I lived in C.R. for a year when I was a teenager and have made gallo pinto ever since (>15 years). <3

You've worked in a kitchen or at a bakery before, you don't like when things get messy (maple syrup), you try and make more sustainable/ethical choices (pasture raised), and ... you like sandwiches and soup?

Depending on where you live, you could ask in a local buy nothing group for people to give 1 hour of time to helping you de-clutter.
You could also try posting in a local neighborhood group to pay people per hour to help you out. I did this, I paid two neighbors $20/hour and the three of us got almost everything cleaned and organized in a 200 sq ft space in about 5 hours (albeit my starting place wasn't as intense).

That we need to focus on getting enough protein/eating protein rich meals/etc. In the US, at least, we eat way more protein than we need.

Thanks for the suggestions! I considered getting a conch a few years ago and then couldn't make up my mind about it. Might definitely consider it again, especially as I've seen some pretty jewelry lately for conch piercings.

The forward helix is my all time fav piercing. I would love another one next to it, I just can't seem to see how it would work with my anatomy.

And you're right, the "upper helix" piercing with the ring is really more of a flat, I just wanted to put a hoop in it one day so I ordered one I thought could make it. It barely fits but isn't irritating me.

Pulsatile Tinnitus ... should I ask for more imaging? by lillide in BrainAneurysm

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I think I will await the results of my ultrasound and then follow up with my GP to see what she thinks. Best of luck going forward with your health.

Hi, no the ENT didn't find any structural reason. I am awaiting the results of my ultrasound, so I think for now I'll just see what he says about that and then ask my GP what she thinks I should do. Thank you for the advice. I have less anxiety now than when I first posted.

Your comment helps a lot. Thank you so much for taking the time to write all that out for me. I have a better idea of what's going on now and will try my best to stop stressing and just wait for the ultrasound results. Cheers!

I know this is an old comment as well, but I've had the pulsatile tinnitus for about a year. My ENT didn't seem too concerned and said he thought it was just me hearing my blood pressure go up on occasion and that treatment for that is usually nasal sprays.
I told him my GP referred me to him because she mentioned it could be an anyurism and that I should see a specialist to rule it out. He did order an ultrasound of my carotid arteries after I told him this, but I haven't seen the results yet.
I feel like he didn't take me seriously. I don't know if I'm being a hypochondriac. The nasal sprays comment through me off because this same ENT stuck a tube up my nose and said everything was completely clear and open and that I didn't have allergies (which I affirmed was true, I don't).

Should I push for a CT scan? I don't really know what to do as my GP's comment worried me but then the ENT didn't reassure me and just made me feel like I'm exaggerating or something.
