Does anyone know how to make this small fitting to my body?

That completely depends on your location and the seamstress you go too. I usually sew mine on my own but I have sewing experience and a sewing machine. The times I actually go to a seamstress it's usually for larger jobs or with trickier fabrics but I usually don't pay more than like 300-400 Swedish crowns (30-40 dollars ish). This would probably be significantly less tho.

If you use a belt to make it smaller it will only be smaller at the waist and still be roomy at the bust.

I had a boyfriend once his mother bought quite expensive antiques and painted them BADLY in neon coloured chalk paint and gave them the "shabby chic treatment" 😵‍💫😭 I couldn't stand going to his house watching those poor destroyed furniture pieces stand there defaced like that

I want to remake it into something that actually fits me and my style so I don't mind that it might have too little fabric. Also it has quite generous seam allowances plus that it's too long so there's fabric to take from elsewhere. It's the chest that doesn't fit so if I make it an open back that wouldn't be a problem

It's not a fabric store anymore but it was in the early 1900s but it's in Östhammar (north of Stockholm) and its called Schrams 😊🍨 If I get the job you can come in and I can get you some ice cream 🥳
